Over the past year, we've supported innovators to grow, attracted investment into the region, and helped bring innovation into NHS practice.

Our support helped:
✅ PocDoc secure £700k of investment
✅ Generate 526 referrals to WorkWell digital health tools
✅ Support Anatostat’s advanced surgical planning innovation, which could save around £1,700 per complex joint replacement

The Maternal Care Bundle provides an opportunity to support improvements in outcomes for women and families, with maternity services expected to achieve full implementation by March 2027.

HI NENC is hosting a two-part programme to support teams through the practical aspects of implementation, from understanding challenges and developing solutions through to testing and embedding improvements.

🔹 Session 1 – Innovation Design Service: 9 September
Work with multidisciplinary colleagues to identify implementation barriers, share learning and develop and prioritise practical solutions.

🔹 Session 2 – Quality Improvement: 8 October
Build on the ideas from the first session and explore how Quality Improvement methods can be used to test, measure and refine changes.
