Passed away peacefully at Wordsworth House Care Home in Newcastle, on Monday, August 24th, 2026.

Kevin, aged 73, son of the late Henry and Louise, brother of George and the late Audrey, Brenda, Mary, Ronald, James, Margaret, and a good friend to many.

Funeral service at Newcastle West Road Crematorium, on Wednesday, September 9th, at 2:00p.m. to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, may be made to Cancer Research UK.

Peacefully in hospital on 21st August, aged 83 years.

Much loved dad of Howard and Paul, father-in-law of Sonia and grandad of Isaac, Harvey, Hannah, Zara and Oliver. Also a dearly loved brother of Maureen, brother-in-law of John and uncle of Sarah and Sharon.

Would family and friends please meet for service at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Friday 11th September at 12.00pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA). A donations box will also be available at the crematorium.

Vivian Short, known as Viv, sadly passed away at the age of 69 on August 2nd 2026 at Marie Curie Hospice after a period of ill health.
Viv was a devoted daughter to the late Keith and Marjorie, beloved mother of Dean, Craig and Liam and also adored grandmother of Ben, Bailey, Noah, Amber Rose, Olivia, Dylan, Hayden and Evie-May.
Not forgetting Viv's beloved pet dog Beau.
Viv will be sadly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
Funeral service to be held at Tynemouth Crematorium on 28th August 2026 at 10.30am.
All who knew her are welcome to attend to pay their respects. Wake to be held afterwards at Powder Monkey pub in High Farm, Wallsend.
May she rest in Peace.

Passed away peacefully in hospital on 12th August 2026, aged 75 Years.

Mick, Devoted and loving husband of Florence. Treasured and amazing Dad of Michael and Christine. Proud and Cherished Grandad of Murray, Jonathan and Joseph. Dear Brother of Jimmy, Margaret, Pearl and Eva.

He was kind, Caring, Funny and always there for people he loved. His warmth, laughter and sense of humour brought so much happiness to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please meet for funeral service at Tynemouth Crematorium Chapel on Monday 24th August 2026 at 10:30am. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Limbless Association.

Passed away at home on Saturday 8th August 2026 aged 87 years young.

Audrey, beloved wife of the late Allen Brown, adored Mam of Paul, Elaine, Peter and Jill. Loving Mother in Law to Kathy, Jimmy and Lesley. Devoted Nana, Great Nana and friend of many.

Would family and friends please meet for service at St Ann’s Church, Battlefield, NE1 2DZ on Thursday 20th August 2026 at 2pm, followed by Cremation at West Road Crematorium, NE5 2JL at 3pm.

Afterwards all welcome to celebrate Audrey’s life at How do you Do, Hudson Street, North Shields, NE30 1JS.
