As my business has evolved, I'm opening up my beautiful treatment room to other practitioners looking for a peaceful, professional space to grow their business.

This space is perfect for a solo massage, holistic or beauty therapist who wants to offer a calm, private and personalised experience for their clients.

If you're ready to move away from the hustle and bustle of a busy salon and create a warm, cosy atmosphere where your clients can truly relax, without the expense and stress of setting up your own treatment room from scratch, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

Located just off Wallsend High Street, the salon is easy to access with excellent public transport links, including the Metro and a wide range of bus routes, as well as free on-street parking nearby.

Designed with comfort in mind, the room has deep green walls, soft textures, warm lighting and a cosy feel, while still being spacious enough for both practitioner and client to work comfortably.

The space includes:

🌿 Privacy screen within the treatment room

Your rental includes:

✨ Access to selected salon equipment, where appropriate – for example, a towel warmer, hot stone heater, facial steamer, overhead half-moon lamp and diffuser for essential oils

You'll also have the opportunity to make the space feel like your own. There is scope to display your own branding alongside mine on the shop front, as well as use on-street signage on the days you're working, helping your clients find you and giving your business greater visibility.

One of the biggest benefits is the flexibility. You'll be given your own key and, on your allocated days, the space is exclusively yours with 24-hour access. You're free to start and finish whenever suits you, come and go throughout the day, and run your business in a way that works for you.

Availability
✨ Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
✨ There may also be the option of a Tuesday or Wednesday instead of Thursday, depending on your requirements.

Rental
✨ £25 per day
✨ Available from 1 day per week up to 3 days per week
✨ Initial 3-month agreement, followed by a flexible month-to-month arrangement
✨ Rent payable every four weeks, with four weeks' rent payable in advance when signing the agreement

I'd love you to feel completely confident before making a commitment, so viewings are welcome with no obligation. There may also be the option of a trial day (£25), allowing you to experience the space before deciding if it's the right fit. Trial days are offered following a viewing and by discussion.

The only thing I ask in return is that you treat the space as if it were your own. I take great pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment, so I simply ask that the room is cared for, kept clean and tidy, and left ready for the next day's practitioner. If you notice any maintenance issues or anything that isn't quite as it should be, I'd appreciate you letting me know as soon as possible so I can resolve it quickly and keep the space to the highest standard for everyone who uses it.

I've been a little quiet on social media over the last few weeks.

Not because I haven't wanted to show up, but because I got caught up trying to figure out the "right" way to do it. The perfect content. The perfect strategy. The perfect way to beat the algorithm.

I was 21 when I became a mum.

And from that very first day I started telling myself the same story.

That I just needed to try harder.

That if I could get the right routine, the right habits, the right level of discipline, I would finally feel okay.
So I tried.

For seventeen years I tried.

I built morning routines and evening routines and cleaning schedules and meal plans and budgets and systems.
I journaled. I meditated. I set alarms for 5am. I made lists. I downloaded apps. I started Mondays with the best intentions every single week.

And every single time life got in the way, I fell apart.

A sick child. A sleepless night. A season where everything felt too heavy.
And the routine would collapse. Again.
And then I would spend days in the shame spiral.

Telling myself I was lazy. That I lacked discipline. That other mums were managing and I just could not get it together.
I am a mum of two neurodivergent boys. I have been navigating life with undiagnosed ADHD for as long as I can remember. And for most of those seventeen years I genuinely believed the problem was me.
I was forty years old before I found out differently.

It was not a dramatic moment. There was no big revelation.

It started with something so small I almost missed it.

One hand on my chest. One hand on my stomach. Just breathing.

That was it.

And something shifted.

Not overnight. Not perfectly. Not all at once.

But slowly I started to understand something I had never been shown before.

That I was not failing at routines.

I was a human being carrying too much, for too long, without enough compassion for myself.

The routines I kept trying to build were perfect on paper. But they were never built for real life. For my life. For neurodivergent children and sleepless nights and a business and a family and all the invisible weight that nobody ever talks about.

There was never anything wrong with me.
I just needed a softer more realistic way.
Not another rigid system to force myself into.

Just small steady moments of coming back to myself.

Scattered through my real day.

In the gaps and the in-betweens and the five quiet minutes I had never noticed before.

I started to heal when I realised I was living every day like it was an emergency.

Not because everything was always terrible.

But because my nervous system had learned to stay switched on just in case.

Rushing when I wasn't late. Feeling guilty when I rested. Struggling to sit still. Always thinking three steps ahead. Never quite able to exhale.

Sound familiar?

This is what survival mode looks like when it becomes your baseline.

It is not a personality trait. It is not anxiety you just have to live with. It is not who you are.

It is a nervous system that learned to stay alert because life kept throwing things at it.

And the beautiful thing about that is this.

What your nervous system learned, it can unlearn.

Not through another rigid routine. Not through forcing yourself to relax. Not through trying harder.

Through tiny moments of safety. Through micro moments of regulation scattered through your real day. Through learning to pause before you react.

Through compassion for yourself when you get it wrong.

I spent seventeen years not knowing any of this.
I wish someone had told me sooner.

So I am telling you now.

You are not broken. You are not failing. You are just carrying too much without enough support.

And most of us have been both at different points.

The overwhelmed mum isn't failing. She is exhausted. She is carrying too much. She never got shown a different way.

The regulated mum didn't suddenly get an easier life.

She just learned to regulate herself first.

Before she responds to the meltdown. Before she reacts to the behaviour. Before she tries to fix everything else.

She learned that her nervous system sets the tone for the whole house.

And she started there.

Small moments. Tiny shifts. A softer way of moving through the hard days.
