โ๏ธ Stay Safe in the Sun This Summer! ๐ก๏ธ
As temperatures rise, it's important to take extra care of yourself and your family in the heat.
โ
Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.
โ
Apply sunscreen regularly and choose at least SPF 30 with UVA and UVB protection.
โ
Wear a hat, sunglasses, and light, loose-fitting clothing.
โ
Try to stay in the shade, especially between 11am and 3pm when the sun is strongest.
โ
Never leave children, older adults, or pets in a parked car.
โ
Check on elderly relatives, neighbours, and those with health conditions during hot weather.
Watch out for signs of heat exhaustion, including dizziness, headaches, excessive sweating, nausea, or feeling faint. If symptoms worsen or don't improve, seek medical advice.
