Stonebanks Canine Trust

Stonebanks Canine Trust I offer help with the loss of a pet and advice on vet medications and alternative therapies. I help to rehome dogs and im currently rescuing from Romania.

i offer help and advice on basic pet care and animal welfare. I also help with dog behaviour. I am here to offer help and support with any dog related issue or concern. I will help in anyway I can I would much rather offer the support to fix and keep pets in there home. I rescue from abroad and Uk and I am always seeking foster carers and homes for my dogs. I work with a dog behaviourist and can a

dvise on dog care and welfare needs for each individual dog. My aim is to gain a premises to build a Sancutary where I will focus on the care and rehabilitation of animals whilst my main focus will be on educating the public,, our children and our authorities. Once a sancutury is in place I will be offering volunteer positions as long as the volunteer agrees to attending small courses with myself on basic first aid, animal welfare and so on. I will teach you all what I know and give you the skills one day to go out into the world and achieve great things in our animal kingdom. Love always wins its about time us humans give these animals the respect they truly deserve. it doesn't matter where they come from they all deserve a chance to be loved and cared for.

I am now having a few days off or I'm at least going to try.
UK emergencies are getting out of hand it's honestly been non stop for a good few month now litteraly everyday. Im unsure what is happening in this world but the animals are suffering.

On a lighter note I want to say I am so greatful to all of our supporters without you none of this would be possible the ongoing support and help I have recieved of late has been over whelming. it really has been so wonderful to see people pulling together and doing all they can to help and save innocent lives.
Look at what we have achieved in just a few months it just wonderful.
I have a good feeling things will continue and only get better.

I send so much gratitude love and appreciation to each and every one of you.

Someone asked me today how many dogs have I saved like the number mattered. I honest have no idea but I know its alot I've done this for many years now.
I do so much work behind scenes that not many are aware of my days are consumed with rescue.
Now my UK emergencies are sorted my Rommies are booked in and have some sort of plan I'm away to rest for a few days 😊

From the bottom of my heart for every like share comment donation suggestion raffles I'm overwhelmed with the support
From all my doggies and myself thank you ♥

Both Raymond and Lilly will recieve Brucellosis test early next week.
They are both booked on the 5th September transport.

Send them lots of love both dogs are with the lovely Daniella we still have the donations from when Lola came over for Daniella.
CHR have assured me they will be taken this time. I would really like to get Daniella as much tinned or tray food as possible this is very expensive in Romania if anyone wants to donate or order from our Amazon wishlist please let me know. She has worked wonders with these dogs I want to show her how much she is appreciated. 🙏 ♥

This will leave us Lizzy, Sam and Lexi in Romania due to everyone's support and donations raffles etc I'm unsure of the exact amount as i have been tied up all week with two Uk emergencies but one of these dogs will have at least half of what they need it may even be more meaning funds towards travel once I have paid for Raymond and Barry's bills to travel. I will also get Barry a teeth check and health check before travel as hes been in foster so long in Romania.
After that I will know what's left for one of these beautiful souls

Who do I pick 😢
How do I choose

I'm ideally looking for 3 wonderful fosters or adopters to help me with these dogs. At a push once Barry is sorted I could bring one to me on a temporary basis until a home was found but which one god only knows. If someone would consider one of them they can come sooner.

Lexi is the last one she is a much more confident dog goes on a lead can be touched

Sam and Lizzy are petrified not aggressive in anyway just afraid i don't think they have moved fully in nearly 2 years it's so cruel but if no one sees them what can I do. Shelter life can be so frightening for a dog, however, this soon changes once in a home. I will add links please share it costs you nothing to foster until a home is found.

Please remember our bills are on going so the longer this takes and depending on donations coming in this will all effect how much they will have or one of them will have wouldn't it be wonderful if we had enough for them all 😊

The wonderful Barry will also travel to UK in September dates to be confirmed Barry has an offer of a foster home but is still very much up for adoption.
The foster has just recently adopted Lola and soon to be Lilly we need to space it out so its not too much at one time so he will travel a few weeks later to be safe this is close to me so if for what ever reason Lola and Lilly need more time I can take Barry for a short while this is not ideal but I won't let him wait any longer.

Once Lola arrived we had planned to get Barry over whilst Lilly waited on a new Elisa test sadly due to Raymond's vet bills Barry got delayed so I'm unsure how this will unfold but he's definitely travelling next month.

This is a tricky one as we are still waiting on cat test ( I've just realised he hadn't been cat tested ) but his foster will check this over the next few days

We may need an emergency foster if for what ever reason he's no good with the cat but to be honest I've never had a Rommie that hasn't been ok with cats yet but I won't know for sure until he is tested.

If you would consider adopting Barry he's fully funded but adoption fee will apply his travel and Brucellosis is now covered he will need deworming and passport I will add his link below.

Gosh finding a transport to go to West Wales isn't easy for Raymond but we won't be beat cheapest quote to the door is £450 so far or the foster meets in Bristol 😢 all good and well during the day but at night it's risky and we never know arrival times until last minute.

I still have a few more to ask we won't be beat 😊 I will update asap

I have the most wonderful news our old chap Raymond has a retirement home in Wales.
This is on a foster basis incase he should get ill but all going well he will spend the rest of his days there. I don't have any concerns about his health.
We will send supplements to keep his body bacteria free this will keep him healthy 😊
We offer full rescue back up and as a foster we can step in at anytime should it be needed but I know it won't.

I will price up transport and get the ball rolling as soon as possible

I'm not sure who's looking over this boy but he's been one hell of a lucky chap since we rescued him just look at this below.

8 acres of land 6 for the dogs 15 in total no kennels they are free to roam and all sleep indoors
2 acres for the farm animals.
What a lucky boy I'm so happy I could cry.
Let's get our old chap home 😊
