A quick reminder to keep your eye tests and glasses up to date! 👓🚌

We’ve all been there… you’re in a hurry, hop on the bus and then realise you’ve got absolutely no idea where you’re going! 😂

Our latest adventure has taken things a little too literally — he was trying to get to Whitley Bay, but couldn’t see the destination clearly enough and ended up heading towards Whitby Bay instead! 🚌👀

Jokes aside, it’s a good reminder that your vision can change gradually, and sometimes you don’t notice that things have become a little harder to see.

If it’s been a while since your last eye test, or you’re finding it harder to read signs, screens or small print, it could be time for a check-up.

There’s a new villain in town… and he’s causing trouble for your eyelids! 😈

Brother Blepharitis – The Lid Wrecker – attacks the tear factories, affecting both the quantity and quality of your tears. This can leave your eyes feeling dry, gritty, sore or irritated.

But don’t worry — there are things you can do to fight back! 💪

💧 Stay hydrated
👀 Remember to blink, especially when using screens
💦 Consider lubricating eye drops

There’s a new villain in the Vision Universe… and he’s one you definitely don’t want hanging around! 🦹‍♂️

Colonel Cataract creeps up slowly. His early effects can sometimes be subtle, but cataracts can gradually affect your vision, making things appear cloudy, colours less vibrant, and glare more troublesome.

The good news? 👇
Regular eye examinations can help detect changes early and ensure your eyes are being properly monitored. 👁️✨

And remember, Anti-Reflective lenses can help with glare – one more tool in the fight against Colonel Cataract! 💪

We’ve got a new character in our Vision Universe – and this one is definitely up to no good! 😈

Meet Myopia, who loves to make things in the distance look blurry. But luckily, there’s a hero on hand… 🦸‍♂️💚

Introducing Myopia Management – helping to slow the progression of short-sightedness in children and young people.

There are simple things we can all do to help support healthy eyes:

🌳 Play outdoors
👓 Wear your glasses as prescribed
📱 Move devices back and take regular breaks
🔬 Ask us about myopia management
