We’ve hit a big milestone here at Newcastle — 100 Mako robotic‑assisted hip and knee replacements!

It’s a real team effort from start to finish. Our consultants, theatres, wards and physio teams all play their part — and so do the people behind the scenes who keep everything moving. From our Bookings Team, who guide patients from that very first phone call, to our brilliant Radiology Team, whose imaging work helps to shape every personalised surgical plan.
Most importantly, this milestone represents 100 patients who’ve trusted us with their care and are now on the move again with more confidence and comfort.
