🎯 Big congratulations to Andrew! 🎯

Andrew, one of our fantastic clients from our LIFE service, recently took the crown at the weekly darts competition at LD North East! After a series of brilliant games, Andrew came out on top and got to hold onto the trophy until the following week's competition.

Look at that winning smile! 🏆 We love seeing our clients enjoying activities they're passionate about and celebrating moments like these together.

Meet William 💛

When William moved to Allendale Court - one of our LIFE supported living schemes in the North East - he was shy, spending most of his time in his room, and finding daily life increasingly daunting.

That was then.

A few weeks ago, William booked his first driving lesson. He's been going independently ever since. 🚗

"I have grown massively in my confidence. I can access the community independently. I've begun to chase my dreams and ambitions in my healthier, happier life."

William always had the skills. He just needed the right support around him to find his confidence - and that's exactly what our LIFE team at Allendale Court is here for.

We couldn't be more proud of you, William. 💛

Today we're joining Skills for Care's national campaign - and we're using it to celebrate our incredible LIFE team. 💙

LIFE, which stands for Living Independently, for Everyone, has been part of Be Caring since 2010, supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs to build skills, grow in confidence, and live fulfilling, independent lives in the North East.

Our LIFE colleagues show up every single day, in people's homes, in the community, in their supported living services - and they do it with patience, dedication and skill. They learn how each person communicates. They celebrate the small wins as loudly as the big ones. They build the kind of trust that changes lives.

David, who we support through LIFE Outreach, put it better than we ever could:
"My social worker brought Be Caring in and that changed my life. I do loads for myself now, I'm independent. I've turned my life around. My Mam's happy."

To every single one of our LIFE colleagues: we see you, we're proud of you, and we're grateful for everything you do. 🌟

What a wonderful weekend at Allendale! Our residents came together to celebrate Easter and had a wonderful time!
