🚀Digitally Enabled Lives: Building Connected Communities
How can we build more connected communities where people can access the services, support and technology they need to live well and independently?
📅 Thursday 15 October
📍The Catalyst, 3 Science Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5TG
⏰ 09:00 – 15:30
What to Expect?
The programme is taking shape around themes including:
• Moving from reactive to preventative care considering how technology can support earlier intervention, reablement and ongoing community-based support
• Connecting health, housing and social care exploring the opportunities and challenges involved in working across organisational boundaries
• Supporting independence through technology looking at how digital approaches can provide people with greater choice, control and confidence in their daily lives
• Developing the workforce and culture considering the skills, confidence and organisational change needed to embed new ways of working
• Designing services with people and communities examining the role of research, co-design and community partnerships in creating support that reflects people’s real needs
• Making digitally enabled care inclusive exploring how organisations can tackle digital inequality and ensure technology works for different people and communities
This is a chance to step back from the day-to-day, share experiences and explore what connected communities could look like in practice and what you could do differently when you return to work.
