✨ Dream fulfilled! ✨

Here at Kentford Manor, we were delighted to make our lovely resident Effi's dream come true with a punting trip on the beautiful River Cam in Cambridge. 💙

A huge thank you to our amazing care assistants, Charley and Dawn, along with Alan, our minibus driver, for making sure Effi was safe and comfortable throughout the day. Special thanks also to the wonderful team at Scholars Punting for their kindness and assistance.

Effi couldn't have been happier! She loved listening to the fascinating history of Cambridge's colleges and bridges while enjoying the sunshine and stunning views.

Seeing our residents smile is what it's all about, and we can't wait to fulfil another special wish soon. ✨

💙 Giving Back to Our Community 💙

Today, our wonderful residents and staff were proud to donate freshly prepared meals to John and his incredible feed the families initiative.

It was truly rewarding for our residents to see how their kindness can make a real difference. Helping others brought a real sense of pride and purpose, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone involved.

📍 Free lunchboxes are available at All Saints Church in Newmarket every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, for families who could use a little extra support during the summer holidays.

A huge thank you to John and everyone involved in making this wonderful initiative possible. Your dedication is making a real difference to families in our community.

🌞 What a fantastic day out at Needham Lakes! 🌳💙

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying a scenic walk around the lake, with a relaxing drinks break along the way. The biggest excitement of the day? A trip to McDonald's for lunch! 🍔🍟 Everyone was thrilled to enjoy their Big Macs, and there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy memories made.

Days like these are all about enjoying the great outdoors, good company, and creating special moments together. ❤️

What a lovely day out at South Angle Farm Park ! 🐑🐐🐇

Our residents had a fantastic time meeting the lovely farm animals, feeding them, and enjoying the beautiful weather. We finished the day with a wonderful picnic, making it the perfect outing.

Today we celebrated Barbara's very special day with all our staff gathering to sing "Happy Birthday" and present her with a beautiful birthday cake, lovingly made by our amazing Tina from the kitchen team. 💐🎶🍰

Barbara was also delighted to receive lots of lovely visitors, beautiful flowers, and thoughtful birthday cards throughout the day, making her celebration even more special. Happy birthday Barbara 🎂

What a wonderful minibus trip to Ely! 🚐💙

Our residents enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Cutter Inn , followed by a scenic walk along the river, taking in the beautiful views and all the different boats.

What a wonderful weekend we had! 💙

Although the weather was a little chilly for our Sports Day, David James certainly warmed our hearts with his angelic voice. What an incredible performance! 🎶✨

Our residents absolutely loved every moment. There was plenty of laughter, singing, cheering, and smiles all around. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone coming together, making memories, and enjoying such a special day.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the weekend so memorable. Here's to many more wonderful moments together! 💕

What a fabulous way to finish our afternoon activity! 🎶

Our lovely resident, Sheila, gave a beautiful rendition of Cruising Down the River on a Sunday Afternoon, a timeless song written by Eily Beadell and Nell Tollerton in the 1940s. Her performance had everyone completely captivated, with the room falling silent as everyone listened and enjoyed every word.

Thank you, Sheila, for sharing your wonderful talent and bringing such a special, nostalgic moment to us all. ❤️🎵

👂 A huge thank you to Corran, our Hearing Aid Audiologist, for visiting us yesterday and delivering such an informative and engaging presentation on hearing loss!

There were lots of great questions from our residents and relatives, and everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a free hearing screening.

A very special thank you goes to Sheila, who was brave enough to let us all see the inside of her ears on the big TV screen during her hearing screening! It was fascinating, and we all learned something new about how our ears look and work.
