A massive congratulations to Paul Riley who won our staff nominations award for July! 🙌

Paul received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from his colleagues, who consistently highlighted his dedication, support, leadership, and the positive impact he has on those around him 💜

Paul's colleagues also spoke about the trust he places in others, empowering them to take ownership of their roles while always being available to offer guidance and support when needed. His reliability, honesty, and commitment to the team make him a highly respected colleague and leader ⭐

In more exciting football news, two of our young people in the south went and trained with Fordham FC! ⚽

Both of them played really well and integrated into the team seamlessly and have been invited back to keep training with a vision of becoming regular players in the matchday squad for the upcoming season! 🙌

We are super proud of the boys as it is their first exposure to being around an established team and they more than held their own! One of them was even able to pull out some tricks getting a couple of nutmegs and both of them scored goals in the game at the end! 😁

Both said they really enjoyed and can’t wait to go back training next time! 💜

Earlier in the month, one of young people in the south graduated from racing school! The pictures below are pictures of her riding out one of the thoroughbreds... and of course she chose one of the quickest horses on the yard! 🤣

But none the less, rode it like a true professional, despite the horse having it’s own ideas at times! 🐎

It was a truly special moment and we are so proud of her achievements! 😊

To top things off, she has now secured a job at a very renowned yard in Newmarket and will be riding these thoroughbreds every day! 🙌

We are all so proud of her, well done! 💜

Some of our young people in Liverpool have made history! 🙌

Two young people in Liverpool were proudly selected to represent Liverpool and made history by winning the LFC Refugees Cup for the first time! 😁⚽

Competing against teams from different cities, they showed determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament. In a tense final, they secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory. After scoring the decisive goal, the team defended with incredible courage and commitment, giving everything they had to protect their lead until the final whistle 💜

One young person said "We fought for each other, for our community, and for everyone who supported us. Bringing the trophy home to Liverpool for the first time is a moment we will never forget" 🙌

The victory was more than just a football achievement. It was a celebration of unity, perseverance, and the strength of a team that refused to give up 😊

We're very happy to share that one of our young people in Liverpool has not only been awarded 'Best Player of The League' at his college football league, but he has also been invited to try out for local National League North side, Southport FC! 🙌⚽

He has come such a long way from when he first arrived in the UK, and has consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to his goals and ambitions, despite facing tough circumstances! 😊

We are extremely proud of his continued progress and resilience, and we believe that this has only been strengthened by significant contributions and reliable support from Dan throughout! 😁✨

This is such a milestone achievement and we are all so proud of his incredible hard work, commitment and resilience! 🙌
