🎶 Well… Andy Stewart has been and done it again!

As always, it was an absolute pleasure having Andy visit Castlemead. He brought the music, the fun and, of course, had our residents up singing, dancing and showing off their best moves! 🎷🕺🎤

There may have been a few questionable dance moves… but we’re not naming names! 😉😂

Thank you, Andy, for another fantastic afternoon filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of toe-tapping! We’ll see you again soon! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made our recent Excelcare Milton Keynes Region Sports Day such an incredible success!

A special thank you to Mark and his amazing team from MK Dons Community Trust for organising all of the games and running such a fantastic afternoon. Your energy, enthusiasm and encouragement made the day one to remember for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to the wonderful D-Day Darling for entertaining us with a fantastic performance.

An even bigger thank you to our fellow homes – Neath House Care Home - Excelcare , Dovecote Manor Care Home - Excelcare , Water Hall Care Home - Excelcare, The Willows Care Home - Excelcare and our Regional Team– for coming along and taking part. We know just how much planning, preparation and teamwork goes into bringing the wonderful people who live with us to events like these, and we truly appreciate the effort every single home made.

Thank you as well to all the friends and family who came along to cheer everyone on. Your support meant so much and helped create such a brilliant atmosphere.

It truly was an epic afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork, "friendly competition", music and memories that we'll treasure for a long time. We can't thank you all enough for making it so special. We already can't wait for the next one! 🏆💙

Who says you have to leave the building to go on an adventure?

This afternoon, Escape to VR took us on some incredible journeys! We spent time with the cutest puppies 🐶, explored the beautiful streets of Sicily 🇮🇹, enjoyed a scenic train ride 🚂, and even crossed the finish line first in a thrilling horse race! 🏇🏆

It's wonderful to see how VR can transport us to new places, bring back happy memories, and create exciting new experiences—all from the comfort of Castlemead!
