Hi folks! We’ve had another lovely week. We made some delicious plum jam using plums from our orchard, and on Thursday we had our baking club, where we used the jam to make some tasty jam tarts. 🍑🥧

We’ve also been busy preparing our props in arts and crafts for our beach day next week, upcycling some furniture, doing a few puzzles, and enjoying a nice tipple on the decking area. It’s been a lovely week filled with fun, creativity and plenty of laughter! 😊🌞

Residents enjoyed a fun and engaging programme of activities, including attending a church service,⛪️ completing puzzles🧩, participating in arts and crafts, and enjoying book club sessions.we also celebrated a birthday 🎂.and a 5 years service award.These activities provided opportunities for social interaction, creativity, relaxation, and meaningful engagement.

What a busy time we have had! We’ve enjoyed celebrating two very special 🎂 birthdays, as well as taking part in lots of fun and engaging activities.

We’ve enjoyed a French lesson, playing Bingo, getting creative with arts and crafts, and making some lovely things to display on our boards and in our home.

We've also had lots of fun with word games.and also enjoyed some refreshing ice lollies,to cool us down.🍦🍦🍦🍦

This week residents have enjoyed a great talk from Judith our volunteer on London which they all enjoyed and were reminiscing about old times.

We celebrated a special birthday with a lovely cake ,and singing happy 🎂 birthday.

We have gone on strolls and rolls around the gardens,and had fun playing card games in the sunshine.🌼🌷🪻

We made some delicious chocolate cupcakes in baking club,where it all got a bit messy but they were delicious 😋 🍩🍰🧁

Residents have been busy getting creative, making some fabulous jewellery and putting the finishing touches on our lovely pots. We were also treated to brilliant entertainment from Mark and his wife—what an amazing duo! They had everyone smiling, singing, and tapping their toes.we have also celebrated 2 special birthdays 🎂

As if that wasn't enough, we've been getting our hands dirty at gardening club, brushing up on our French (bonjour!), enjoying plenty of sing-alongs, and putting our brains to the test with quizzes. Safe to say there hasn't been a dull moment.😁🌻🌸🇨🇵🎉🎉

We have had a wonderful weekend celebrating two birthdays with our residents! There were lots of smiles, laughter, and special moments shared together.

Alongside the birthday celebrations, everyone enjoyed a fun-filled weekend of bingo, sing-alongs, flower arranging, a church service, and a variety of engaging activities.🎉🎂💐🏵😁

CELEBRATIONS

This week, we have enjoyed some lovely sunny days and made the most of the beautiful weather. Residents had a wonderful time making our notice board together, baking delicious butter biscuits, and going for relaxing walks outdoors.

We were delighted to welcome Leslie and Lilly, our wonderful volunteer therapy dog from the Pets As Therapy charity. Their visit brought lots of smiles and comfort to everyone.

Residents also enjoyed a variety of fun activities throughout the week, including word games and reading another chapter from our Charles Dickens book, which everyone is looking forward to continuing.

It has been a week filled with laughter, friendship, and enjoyable moments together.😁🐕🚶‍♂️👩‍🦽🌞

Another very warm week, but we were pleased to manage our Sports Day while the clouds kept the sun at bay. Residents and staff joined together to cheer everyone on, making it a fun-filled and enjoyable event. At the break, everyone enjoyed the traditional quarter oranges before the races continued.

The activities included egg and spoon races, beanbag throwing, and plenty of laughter and encouragement throughout the morning.

We also celebrated two residents' birthdays with birthday cake, enjoyed a scrapbooking session, and made the most of the pleasant weather by going for walks together. It has been another busy and happy week filled with fun, friendship, and wonderful memories.⚽️🥉🎳🎂
