What an absolute blast we had at Craighead Care Home with the fantastic Paul Sullivan in the house 🎶Paul had our residents singing along, tapping their toes and dancing away to all the classics and much-loved favourites. ❤️🎵 There were smiles all around, plenty of laughter, and some brilliant dancing on display💃🕺
It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the music and creating some very special memories together. Music really is therapy ,it can lift the mood, bring back wonderful memories, connect people and simply make us feel good. 🎶A huge thank you to Paul for entertaining us and bringing so much energy, fun and happiness to Craighead Care Home We are already looking forward to the next one! 🎶💃🕺

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to congratulate Abhinav and Lintu, who have successfully completed their SVQ Level 3 and have also been successful in our recruitment process, securing their positions within our team as Senior Care Assistants. 🎓This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful milestone in their careers. Their hard work, dedication and commitment have truly paid off, and we are delighted to see them growing with us and becoming an important part of our team. Throughout their journey, they have been guided, encouraged and supported by our entire team, and it has been wonderful to watch their confidence, knowledge and skills develop. They are now adding even more experience and skill to our already dedicated care team. At Craighead Care Home, we believe in supporting our staff, creating opportunities and helping our people to learn, develop and progress. At Craighead Care Home, we came together for our weekly prayer service with Rev. Amos, sharing a special time of prayer, reflection and togetherness. 🕊️We pray for peace in our world. We pray for love in our hearts and communities.

We were delighted to welcome J and M Owls to Craighead Care Home for a truly special visit. Our residents enjoyed meeting a wonderful collection of beautiful owls and learning all about these amazing birds.
A heartfelt thank you to Jim and Mhari, whose kindness, warmth, and friendly nature made the afternoon so enjoyable. They shared a wealth of fascinating knowledge about each owl, answering questions and giving everyone the opportunity to appreciate these magnificent birds up close. It was a memorable experience filled with smiles, conversation, and wonderful moments that everyone will remember. Thank you, Jim and Mhari, for such an enjoyable and educational visit. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

A beautiful afternoon of entertainment at Craighead Care Home with the wonderful Graham. His fantastic singing filled the room with music, laughter, and memories as residents enjoyed a lovely selection of well loved songs. There was plenty of singing along, smiling faces, and happy moments shared by everyone. Graham always creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and his performances are enjoyed by all. Thank you, Graham, for another wonderful afternoon of music and entertainment. We look forward to seeing you.

Keeping fit with Lucy is always one of the highlights of the week at Craighead Care Home. Our residents enjoy energetic keep fit sessions at least three days a week, helping everyone stay active, healthy, and smiling.
Each session is full of fun, laughter, and plenty of encouragement. There is always a little friendly competition, lots of cheering each other on, and a wonderful sense of teamwork. Lucy brings so much energy and enthusiasm to every class, making exercise enjoyable for everyone. A big thank you to Lucy for keeping us moving, motivated, and having such a great time together.

A wonderful afternoon of entertainment, music, and nostalgia at Craighead Care Home. Graham treated everyone to a fantastic selection of well loved songs that brought back many happy memories, with plenty of singing along and smiles all around. What a day! ☀️❤️ We laughed, we danced, we ate far too much food (strictly for quality control, of course!), and together we made our Craighead Summer Fête one to remember. From the amazing butter chicken and lucky tombola winners to smiling residents and wonderful volunteers, every moment was filled with joy. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. Thanks to your incredible support, we also raised an amazing £1,800! We couldn’t be prouder of our fantastic team, our brilliant volunteers and our amazing community. Our feet might be tired, but our hearts are full. ❤️
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off for a well earned cup of tea and maybe just one last cake, boba tea, butter chicken, halva, momo or bhature, jollof rice, puchka, spring roll, or idli .. we are spoiled for choices
