Passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at the Royal Gwent Hospital on 10th July 2026, aged 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late Graham, much loved mum to Steve and Claire, dear mother-in-law of Alison and Matthias, a very special nan to Mark, Charlotte, John, Jordan and Rebecca. A proud great nan of Eli and Wilfie.

Funeral service to take place at Langstone Vale Crematorium on Wednesday, 19th August at 1.30pm.

CLAIRE LOUISE SNELLING

Peacefully on 7th July at the Royal Gwent Hospital, aged 60 years, devoted partner to Derek, much loved mother of Hannah and her partner Dylan.

Claire was a passionate Girl Guiding volunteer and an enthusiastic member of the knitting and sewing community.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday 13th August at Gwent Crematorium, Croesyceiliog at 12noon. Please feel free to wear a splash of colour. Donations for 14th Newport West Guides and Rangers may be given at the service.

Sadly passed away on 8th July 2026 aged 84 years, Tony of Caerleon, Newport.
Former fitter and turner at British Aluminium and later Llanwern Steelworks.
Much loved cousin of Iris and dear long-time friend of Bob and Jill, he will be dearly missed by his neighbours, friends and all who knew him.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday 26th August, service at Gwent Crematorium Croesyceiliog at 12noon.

SALLY REEVES

Peacefully passed away at home, on 11th July 2026 aged 57 years.

Beloved wife of Colin, adored mum of Kellie and Ashley, cherished nan of Phoebe, Izzie, Bella and Sonny, loving daughter of Shirley and Richard and much loved sister of Andrew and Catherine.

A dedicated and compassionate midwife, Sally spent her career caring for countless families in both the Royal Gwent and Grange University Hospital.
Deeply missed by all of her family, friends, colleagues and everyone who knew and loved her.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday 18th August, service at Gwent Crematorium Croesyceiliog at 11am.
At Sally's request, no black to be worn please.
