This is the yoga studio. If you've heard about yoga but not tried it comes to a class and try it, it's suitable for beginners and suitable for anyone who would like to slow down, move their body mindfully while focusing on their breath.
Yoga is an incredible practice that goes beyond the physical, so after the movement part of the class we do breath work(Pranayama), followed by relaxation(Yoga Nidra), and then meditation. We end each class with chanting Om together.

Many students wonder if they can still join a class when injured or too tired to move their bodies.
The answer is absolutely yes! You are welcome to join us exactly as you are.

The classes start with resting on the mat and focusing on the breath before gently easing into movement. If any pose feels too challenging or uncomfortable, simply stay resting or adjust to a position that feels good for you. I have blocks and bolsters on hand to make lying down as supportive and comfortable as possible.

Throughout the class, I cue breath awareness and , you can use that to tune into your breathing from a restful pose. You can then fully participate in the Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and meditation at the end.

Yoga is much more than physical movement and you can still do Yoga even if movement is difficult for you.

Take care of yourself and join a yoga class. All my classes are trauma informed and we do a mixture of physical practice that help improve flexibility and strength unintentionally a gentle way, going at your pace. We also do Pranayama where we learn different breath practices that help lower stress and helps center us. Every class has yoga Nidra also known as yogic sleep which is deeply relaxing and I'll guide you through it. We end the class with a short meditation followed by a short story and chanting Aum together.

People leave the class saying they feel "relaxed ", better than when they arrived", "peaceful" and more.

Invest in yourself and come and try it. No need to sign up you can come when you can. less
