♥️A message from our Manager♥️
Today marks a truly special moment for all of us at Lake View Care Home. After a long journey filled with hard work, determination, patience and belief, we are incredibly proud to announce that we have finally received our CQC registration.
From next week, we will have the privilege of opening our doors and warmly welcoming our first clients to Lake View Care Home.
As Manager, I cannot put into words what this moment means to me and our entire English Oak team. This is so much more than the opening of a care home. It represents a commitment to our island and to the people who call it home, a commitment to providing a place where people can feel safe, valued, respected and genuinely cared for.
We are incredibly proud to be able to support our local community by providing high-quality care closer to home. For families, we hope Lake View will bring reassurance and peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are being cared for with kindness, dignity and compassion within their own community.
None of this would have been possible without the support of what we call, our English Oak family. Their dedication, compassion, professionalism and unwavering belief in what we are building have been truly inspiring. Every member of our team, both here on the Isle of wight and the mainland, has played an important part in bringing Lake View to life, and I am immensely proud to stand alongside them as we begin this next chapter.
We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us along the way. Our families, friends, professionals and members of the community who have encouraged us, believed in us and shared in our journey. Your support has meant more than you know.
Opening Lake View is a proud moment for us, but it is also a proud moment for the island. We hope to become not simply a care home, but a valued part of the community, a place filled with warmth, laughter, companionship and belonging.
As we welcome our first clients next week, we do so with grateful hearts, immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility. We know that being entrusted with someone's care is one of the greatest responsibilities there is, and we will never take that trust for granted.
Lake View Care Home is finally opening its doors, and we cannot wait to welcome you home.
