When families experience separation or conflict, maintaining a child's relationship with both parents can sometimes require additional support.

Supervised contact provides a safe, structured environment where children can spend valuable time with a parent or family member while their wellbeing remains the priority.

In our latest blog, we explore what supervised contact is, why it may be needed, and how it can help children maintain positive family connections during challenging times.

At The First Hub Isle of Wight, we pride ourselves on being understanding. We know that reaching out and asking for help can feel scary and daunting, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

However, when an appointment is booked and someone does not show up, it has a significant impact:

It delays your journey: Missing a meeting puts your own support, advice, or contact plans on hold.

It affects other families: That time slot could have been given to another family who is urgently waiting for our help.

It impacts our resources: As a dedicated local service, our team prepares thoroughly for every single meeting.

We completely understand that life happens. If you cannot make a Microsoft Teams or face-to-face meeting due to an emergency, illness, or anxiety, please just let us know as soon as possible. We will never judge you—we will simply work with you to reschedule.
