Our Ambulance Service has featured in the NIHR South Central RRDN bulletin!

As the UK’s only combined acute and ambulance service, we’ve now seen over 300 participants take part in three major trauma and emergency care trials within our ambulance service.

These studies were supported by an incredible level of engagement, with 60% of the island’s paramedics volunteering to help deliver them.

Paramedic Hannah said: “I’ve loved taking part in the trials. It’s an exciting opportunity to not only learn new skills, but also to help gather evidence that could influence practice nationally, or even worldwide.”
