Life's been a bit busy lately, but I'm finally getting around to celebrating some of the workshops I have had the pleasure of facilitating over the last two months ๐
A huge thank you to Taff Housing, Cardiff Council, Cyfannol Women's Aid Bwrdd Iechyd Addysgu Powys / Powys Teaching Health Board, Mind Pembrokeshire and the independent coaches and therapists who made time to attend June's ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training). Your commitment to building su***de-safer workplaces and communities is genuinely making a difference.
It was a privilege to spend two days learning, sharing experiences, and building practical skills together.
Hereโs what some participants had to say:
๐ฌ โIncredibly useful and thoroughly enjoyable workshop. I feel empowered to help someone who may be considering su***de. Thank you Chris and Sarah!โ
๐ฌ โSuper engaging and comfortable but also informative - course had high psychological safety!โ
Over the two days, participants developed the confidence and practical skills to recognise when someone may be at risk of su***de, work collaboratively to create a safety plan, and connect them with ongoing support. These conversations can change, and even save, lives.
๐ Keep an eye on my page over the coming days, as Iโll be sharing more participant feedback from this course. Itโs always great to highlight the experiences and reflections of those who have completed the training.
๐
Ready to develop these life-saving skills? Our next open ASIST workshop will be taking place on the 19th and 20th of November in Cardiff.

๐ข Bring ASIST to your organisation
If youโd like to train your own team, I deliver in-house ASIST workshops across the UK. Get in touch at [email protected] to discuss dates and availability.
Together, we can build more confident people, stronger organisations, and su***de-safer communities. ๐
