A little preparation goes a long way and helps us achieve the very best results for your treatment. Here's how you can get appointment-ready:

💗 Arrive with a clean face
Please come to your appointment with no makeup, moisturiser, SPF or fake tan on the treatment area.

☕ Limit caffeine
Try to avoid excessive caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment, as it can increase sensitivity and the likelihood of bruising.

🍷 Avoid alcohol
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your treatment to help reduce bruising and swelling.

💊 Avoid blood-thinning medication or supplements (where medically appropriate)
If it is safe for you to do so and advised by your healthcare professional, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils and certain supplements for 48 hours before your appointment, as these can increase bruising.

💧 Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water before your appointment. Healthy, hydrated skin responds better to treatment and supports recovery.

💬 Let us know about any changes
Please tell us if you're feeling unwell, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have started new medication, or have any changes to your medical history before your appointment.

I have a very busy day in clinic today, but I just wanted to give everyone a little heads-up.

Yesterday, I lost my 15-year-old Staffy — the one who made me a mum. 💔

My heart is absolutely shattered, my eyes are sore from crying, but I’ll still be in clinic today.

If I happen to be a little quieter than usual, have a cry, or look a little sore in the face, you’ll know why. Please just bear with me today. 🥺
