Being active doesn't have to mean doing more, it can mean doing what works for you. The We Are Undefeatable campaign is shining the light on helping people with long-term health conditions build movement into everyday life, in ways that feel achievable and enjoyable✨

There was a time when Jules could barely lift her head because of the pain and fatigue caused by her long-term health condition. Now she's back walking her dogs every day🐕

Her recovery wasn't about giant leaps, it was about tiny, consistent steps:
✔️ Stretching while the kettle boiled
✔️ Heel raises on the stairs
✔️ Balancing while brushing her teeth

🏗️ Take a bird’s-eye view of our hospital expansion!

Our latest drone footage shows the progress being made on the new CT4 and Mammography Unit extensions at the IWT Community Diagnostic Centre.

With CT4 on track for completion in September 2026 and the Mammography Unit entering its next phase of construction, these new facilities will create improved spaces for our patients and colleagues.

A huge thank you to everyone helping bring these developments to life. 🎥👇

🎉A huge congratulations to St Helens Ward, our Team of the Month winners🎉

The team was nominated following heartfelt feedback from a patient who described arriving on the ward feeling "awful, frightened and emotional" during a challenging period of treatment.

They praised the ward's compassion, professionalism, kindness and humour, sharing how staff helped them regain their strength, confidence and sense of safety when they needed it most.

👏 Well done to everyone on St Helens Ward.

- Spot the signs of dehydration💧

Feeling thirsty, dizzy, tired or getting dark yellow urine? These could be signs of dehydration. Babies, young children and older adults are especially at risk, particularly during hot weather.

✅ Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.
❌ Avoid alcohol and too much caffeine if you're dehydrated.
💊 If you're losing fluids through sickness or diarrhoea, ask your pharmacist about oral rehydration solutions.
