Looking forward to delivering this Lower Back Longevity workshop with WAX next month.
As a WAX member myself, I wanted to create something practical, educational and relevant — helping people better understand movement and continue doing the things they enjoy for longer.
We’ll explore why movement changes over time, how the lower back is often influenced by the body around it, and consider factors that support long-term training and exercise capacity.
The aim is for people to leave with a better understanding of their own movement and some practical ideas they can apply straight away.
If you’re a WAX 50+ member, hopefully see you there.

LOWER BACK LONGEVITY WORKSHOP COMING SOON
We’re excited to welcome Rachael Storr-Meddings from Newquay Injury Hub to deliver a specialist workshop for our 50+ WAXGYM members
Rachael combines over 20 years of clinical practice, university teaching and extensive experience in assessment and rehabilitation to help people understand why movement limitations and pain develop - not just how to manage symptoms
As a member of WAXGYM herself, Rachael wanted to create a workshop that feels practical, relevant and focused on helping members continue to move, train and stay active long term
This educational and practical workshop will explore how movement changes over time and consider factors that may influence long-term training and exercise capacity.
