I know what you really want me to say...

"Yes, you can leave the baby with me and go take a nap." 🤣

Jokes aside ...

One thing I wish more mums knew before bringing their baby to see me...

Your appointment is baby-led.

Need to stop for a feed? That's fine.

Need to cuddle your baby for half the session? That's fine too.

Need to change a nappy, walk around the room, settle some tears, or ask the same question three times? Absolutely fine.

There is no pressure for your baby to settle perfectly.

The babies I see are often the babies who are struggling most with reflux, colic, feeding difficulties, discomfort or sleep. Trust me, I've seen it all ☺️

We'll take our time, go at your baby's pace, and figure things out together 🤍

If you've been thinking about bringing your baby in, but keep wondering whether osteopathy will really help, these are just a few words from mums who trusted their gut and booked an appointment.

Many of the babies I see are struggling with reflux, colic, feeding difficulties, latch issues, body tension, flat heads, or simply seem unsettled and uncomfortable.

Sometimes parents are told to “wait and see” or that their baby will grow out of it. But in many cases, addressing the underlying tension and feeding issues can save months of unnecessary struggle and help your baby become more comfortable much sooner.

If your baby doesn’t seem settled and your gut is telling you something isn’t quite right, you’re very welcome to get in touch or book online via the link in my bio 🤍

Mums really think they need to know what’s wrong before coming in 😅
You don’t.
That’s my job.
Help is on the way!!

If every feed feels like a battle, this is where I’d start 👇🏼

Feeding aversion (breast or bottle) usually isn’t about stubbornness or hunger —
it’s a baby telling us feeding has started to feel stressful, uncomfortable or overwhelming.

The good news? This can change.

And I know this is often much easier said than done when you’re exhausted and feeding feels like the only way to settle them.
You don’t need to do this perfectly — but a few intentional days of reducing pressure and rebuilding calm can genuinely shift things.
Because feeding aversion rarely improves by pushing through.

It improves when feeding feels safe again.
✨ Offer in calm moments
✨ Watch cues over the clock
✨ Pause when distress starts
✨ Calm first, then try again
✨ Focus on trust, not pressure

For some babies, we also need to look a bit deeper:
tension, reflux-type symptoms, feeding discomfort, oral dysfunction, intolerances or previous stressful feeding experiences can all play a role.

If you’re worried about weight gain, hydration, pain or ongoing vomiting, it’s always worth checking in with your GP or health visitor 🤍

This isn’t about blame.
It’s about understanding what’s driving it so feeding can feel calm, connected and enjoyable again 🤍

Save this for later, or send it to a mum who needs it.

If your baby is getting upset with feeds — breast or bottle — this is for you 🤍

This is the cycle I see all the time:
Feeds start to get a bit fussy…
👉 intake drops
👉 weight gain slows
👉 you’re told to increase feeds

…but how do you increase feeds when they’re already struggling?

So you try to push a bit more
👉 feeds become stressful
👉 baby starts resisting
👉 this is how feeding aversion can begin

Most of the time, there’s a reason underneath it-
tension, discomfort, reflux-type symptoms, or feeding mechanics.

So instead of focusing on getting more milk in,
we need to look at why feeding doesn’t feel good in the first place.

It can feel counterintuitive, especially if intake dips at first.

In most cases this is part of resetting feeding and improving things longer term — but if you’re worried about weight, nappies or your baby’s overall wellbeing, always check in with your GP or health visitor alongside this 🤍

Save this so you have it for your next feed 🤍

Restocking after a busy week in clinic 🤍

These are the blends I reach for every single day with babies — especially in those early weeks when things can feel really overwhelming.

With reflux, colic, wind, teething… most mums don’t actually want to jump straight to medication, they just don’t feel like they have another option.

Homeopathy works so beautifully alongside osteopathy, and it’s become such a big part of how I support families in clinic now.

These have had a little facelift and will be heading online very soon… 👀

Which one would your baby need most right now? 🤍
