Starting important conversations

Many health issues affecting men can go undetected because they're often not talked about.

This Men's Health Week, we're encouraging men to prioritise their health and seek support when they need it.

At Health Matters Occupational Health, we offer bespoke health and wellbeing days that can include informative talks on men's health, mental health, and other key wellbeing topics before employees attend their assessments. These sessions help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and create a safe space for men to ask questions and open up about concerns they may otherwise keep to themselves.

Whether it's stress, anxiety, depression, or physical health concerns such as prostate cancer, early conversations and regular health checks can make a significant difference.

🤝 This new partnership marks an exciting milestone for our team, and we’re looking forward to working closely with Claire Anderson, Clinical Lead – OH Nurse Manager, and her colleagues over the next 2 years plus to support the occupational health & wellbeing needs of the University employees and students.

👨‍⚕️ Our team will be delivering regular weekly Occupational Health Physician clinics, alongside responsive specialist occupational health support across the University.
