Meet Anna, the newest member of The Powerhouse team!
Anna will be coming on board in her new role as Physiotherapist over the next few weeks. Her caseload will consist of sports massage, msk and pelvic health, with a focus on return to activity and pelvic health rehab as she completes her further training. We are delighted to have her on board and very excited about what the future holds with her on the team!
"I am a newly graduated Physiotherapist with a passion for women's health and helping individuals feel confident, strong, and supported throughout every stage of life. I have a particular interest in female athlete health, with my undergraduate dissertation focusing on the management of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and stress fractures in female athletes. This has given me a strong appreciation of the unique challenges women can face in both sport and everyday life, and continues to shape my approach to patient care.
Outside of the clinic, I am quite active, playing Gaelic football and regularly going to the gym, this allows me to understand the importance of staying active for both physical and mental wellbeing. My own experiences in sport help me relate to patients who are looking to return to exercise, recover from injury, or simply achieve their personal goals.
At the PowerHouse pelvic health clinic, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, tailored to each individual."
