🌹Another wonderful week here at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home 🌹

Our residents were truly Blessed this week with Rev Andrew Downey, who joined us to read the Word Of God and spend some time praising God together. 🙏✨

We enjoyed singing some wonderful hymns,and creating a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere for everyone.

Our gentlemen enjoyed some well - deserved hand and arm massages and manicures, while everyone got involved in some great group quiz’s in the different units- with plenty of friendly competition,laughter, and a few very determined contestants! 🧠👏

Our ladies were treated to some lovely hairstyles,along with manicures and relaxing hand and arm massages.💅💆‍♀️ It was lovely to see our residents feeling pampered and smiling.

Although the weather hasn’t been very kind to us this week and our outdoors have been restricted, it certainly didn’t phase us!
☔️☺️ We simply brought the fun indoors with card games, chair exercises and a fantastic singalongs,🎶🥰

We also celebrated a few birthday, so plenty of partying with music and cake 🎂🍰🎉🎈

♥️A HUGH THANK-YOU FROM ALL AT RATHFRILAND MANOR NURSING HOME ♥️

The money raised for our lovely Residents Comfort Funds was £700 thanks to your amazing generosity 🎉🙌

And the kindness didn’t stop there! Yesterday we were absolutely delighted to receive a further £100 donation from Wards Groupage in Newry♥️⭐️

That brings our grand total to an incredible £800! 🎉🎉

Every penny raised will go towards helping make life a little bit more enjoyable and comfortable for our wonder residents.♥️

A huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful Vendors who came along and filled the day with their fantastic goods,treats and services. We truly appreciate you being part of our special day♥️

A massive thank you also goes to our friends, families and most importantly,our amazing residents, who came along to support and enjoy the fun. Your smiles and laughter and support made the day so special!!♥️

We would also like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our local shops and businesses for their incredible generosity, donations, gifts and vouchers, and special shout out to Grahams Ice cream wh donated Ice cream for our residents on the day! 🍦🍦♥️

🎟 Lots of wonderful prizes were won, and there was plenty of fun, laughter and excitement throughout the day!

What a lovely couple of weeks we’ve had here at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home!♥️

We were delight to welcome Danny Doran,a fantastic local singer, who entertained our residents with his beautiful music and had plenty of smiles and toe tapping along the way🎶🥰

We also had Father Byrne visit with the holy Sacraments, bringing comfort,peace and a special sense of calm to our residents. 🙏♥️

Our residents have been kept busy with lots of hair styles, nail painting, facials massages and,of course lots of cuddles from our wonderful therapy dogs Lola & Molly! 🐶🐾

We had a had wine day, some off our lovely ladies had a small glass of Chardonnay with cheese and crackers afternoon, the ladies thoroughly enjoyed it🥂🍾🍶

The weather hasn’t been the kindest, so our outdoor walks have been limited, but that certainly hasn’t dampened our spirits! We’ve filled our days with laugh,fun and good company, 🍰🧁

It’s these special moments that make our residents happy and content while at Rathfriland Manor.

Another Wonderful week here at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home! ♥️

Although the weather didn’t allow us out for as many walks as we had hoped, we certainly didn’t let it dampen our spirits.

Our wonderful therapy dogs Lola & Molly came to visit,bringing so much love,comfort and happiness to our residents. There visits always fill the home with smiles, laughter and plenty of cuddles.🐶♥️

We had everyone singing along during our Karaoke session 🎵🎤,
We enjoyed lots of laughter with a lively game of Balloon Volleyball 🏐🤣, and kept our minds active with games and table Quizzes.

Our ladies were feeling fabulous after having their nails done💅and their hair
Beautifully tonged, while the gentlemen enjoyed competitive games of dominoes and cards - the friendly rivalry was certainly in full swing!

Every day is filled with laughter,friendship and special moments here at Rathfriland Manor, and it’s my privilege to make happy memories for our residents♥️

To day we say a heartfelt farewell to our much-loved and deeply respected
Deputy Manager, Jessica Dezzutto, as she is set to return to her homeland of Italy 🇮🇹 after 13 wonderful years at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home..

Jessica has been an inspiration to us all.
Her kindness, compassion, dedication,and exceptional teaching skills have touched the lives of our residents and staff alike. She has earned the love and respect of everyone who has had the privilege of working with her.

Although we are sad to see her leave, we are truly grateful for everything she has given to Rathfriland Manor. Jessica thankyou for your friendship, guidance and unwavering support over the years.

We wish you and your family every happiness, good health, and success as you all begin this exciting new chapter.
You will always be a cherished part of the Rathfriland Manor Family and will be dearly missed.
