What a truly magical afternoon had at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home with the wonderful Trevor Price the Magician!

Our residents were absolutely captivated from start to finish. Trevor’s acts were outstanding,leaving everyone amazed, laughing,and wondering, “How did he do that?” The joy and excitement on the residents’ faces said it all.

There was plenty of fun, and laughter, and audience participation, making it all a memorable experience for everyone who attended.

A high thank you to Trevor for sharing his incredible talent with us and bringing a touch of magic to Rathfriland Manor. You certainly left us all spellbound.. 🪄🎩🕊🐓

Another wonderful day at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home 🐾♥️

Today was a very special Doggy Therapy day with our beautiful Lola. She is
Loved by our residents and brings so much happiness, joy and comfort to everyone she meet. There were plenty of cuddles,smiles, and very special moments shared throughout the day.

This morning one of our residents who has a real passion for gardening spent some time in iur sensory garden planting some strawberry plants.
It was lovely to see him doing something he really enjoyed, reminiscing about the years gone by sharing his gardening knowledge along the way.

Our talented residents also created some lovely artwork, spending time painting and colouring beautiful pictures.

Of cours, no day would be complete without chats, laughter, companionship, and a few cups of tea enjoyed among friends.

Fun,relaxation,friendship, gardening, creativity, and plenty of activities are always on the go here at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home,
making everyday a special one for our wonderful residents ♥️☕️🌱🍓🐶🐕

Our Tuesday Pamper Session at the Manor today
Was enjoyed but all. The ladies were treated to a relaxing hand and arm massage,nails cleaned, filed and painted, you will see Cerise Pink was our most popular colour today💅🖌

The gentleman also enjoyed a nail clean,file and hand massage and some great conversation was had. These pamper sessions provide sensory stimulation and give the perfect opportunity for some reminiscing among residents and staff.

To make make the afternoon even more special our much-loved therapy dog paid a visit,bringing plenty of smiles, cuddles and joy to everyone she met.

Another wonderful week keeping busy here at
Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home ♥️

Our residents took beautiful trip back in time
On our holiday’s, memories we shared were so priceless.
Stories,laughter and treasured moments filled the room as everyone reminiscing about days gone by✨

We we were delighted to welcome Andrew Mc Murdie
along to entertain our residents with many sentimental favourites
From Jim Reeves, Bing Crosby and many more. The music brought ever right back to their dancing days💃🕺 and it was lovely to see so many smiles,singing along and tapping feet.

The fun continued in the kitchen as residents enjoyed making delicious German biscuits. There was plenty of laughter shared. E tween them…and of course eating them too!🍪😋

We cannot forget our beautiful Therapy Dog Molly🐶 Who continues to do her bit bringing comfort, love and happiness to all our residents. She is very much loved by everyone here at the Manor ♥️

This week at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home has been filled with some wonderful Birthday’s and cake of course 🍰 🎂🎈,

We also celebrated International Nurses Day, taking the time to thank our incredible Nurses for there dedication, compassion, and outstanding care they give each and every day. Our home would not be the same without them.💐

We were also delighted to welcome Father Byrne, who came to celebrate Mass with our residents,and offer his blessings, bringing great comfort and spiritual support to everyone present 🙏

A special highlight of the week was spending time with Lola one of our therapy dogs 🐾 The residents absolutely adore her, and she brings so much comfort, happiness, and companionship wherever she goes.
Other activities were Chair exercise, Table Quizzes,Reminiscing, Arts and Krafts,it was so lovely to hear the different special moments each resident remembered from there life gone by.

Another beautiful day at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home filled with smiles, laughter and truly special moments 💛 from getting creative with arts and crafts to enjoying some friendly quiz fun, our residents kept both minds and hands busy. We made the most of the lovely weather, enjoyed relaxing hand massages and nail painting.💅 we were delighted by some heartwarming doggy therapy with Molly🐾. To top it all off, we celebrated some very special birthday, making the day even more meaningful. It’s days like these that remind us how important joy, companionship, and life’s little celebrations really are.”

Today in Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home, the ladies enjoyed a truly wonderful relaxing day filled with pampering,fun. They thoroughly enjoyed getting their hair styled, along with lovely manicures and foot spa’s that left everyone feeling refreshed and spoiled, the afternoon brought plenty of smiles and laughter. A special highlight of the day was the time spent reminiscing about the old times, sharing stories, and enjoying each other’s company. It was heartwarming to see how much they all enjoyed the day and lovely memories it created.

Today at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home,we had the pleasure of being Entertained by a very talented young Gymnast, Sammie,a proud member of Inertia Gymnastics Academy in Newry, alongside her dedicated coaches, Eimèar Darragh. From the moment Sammie began, it was clear that we were in for something very special. She amazed us with her incredible flexibility,demonstrating stretches and movements that showed just how much dedication and hard work goes into gymnastics. There were many smiles and looks of amazement from the residents and staff alike as she moved with such control,strength and grace. Highlights were Sammie’s wonderful Routines and fabulous flips,

A truest heartwarming day in Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home Celebrating Easter 🐣 The residents enjoyed a mix of activities- from colouring beautiful Easter pictures to relaxing arm and hand massages, nail painting. There was lots of laughter and special moments, especially while reminiscing about the good old days. We were also Blessed to have Rev. Seamus Burke to lead our meaningful Easter Service,and some wonderful Hymns were sang that brought everyone together. Molly brought some Easter Doggy Therapy to the residents,everyone loved her.
