CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE: MOURNE SCAN CLINIC MARKS A DECADE OF HEALTHCARE
This month marks a very special anniversary for Mourne Scan Clinic, part of the Mourne Private Clinic family.
Director Lisa Hughes first started her private practice in June 2016, working part time from a small clinic in Warrenpoint while still working in the NHS.
Initially offering limited pregnancy scans, today Mourne Scan Clinic provides a range of Xray and Scan service including general musculoskeletal scans, an expanded pre-natal offering including 4D Scans and Gender Scans, full Xray services, blood testing, Cancer Gene Screening and Non-Invasive Prenatal testing.
Mourne Scan Clinic significantly invested in service expansion in 2023 and became the first private provider outside of Dublin or Belfast to offer DEXA scans.
Today Mourne Scan Clinic, sits within the Mourne Private Clinic family which is located in modern, spacious buildings on Bridge Street, in the heart of Newry. The Scan Clinic is one of 15 private healthcare services available through Mourne Private Clinic which employs 16 staff.
Director and Lead Sonographer Lisa Hughes said:
