🏍️ A Fantastic Day Out for John! 🏍️

John recently enjoyed a very special visit to Macpherson Motorcycles in Plympton and what a fantastic day it was!

John is a true motorcycle fanatic, and if you ever want to know anything about bikes, John is definitely the man to ask!

Having worked for Triumph for over 30 years, he certainly knows his stuff. Motorcycles have always been a huge passion of his, and although John no longer rides, seeing his face light up as he walked around the showroom and saw all the beautiful bikes was a truly special moment. ❤️

John was soon chatting away with staff and customers, sharing his knowledge, experiences and memories. It was heartwarming to hear him reminisce and talk so passionately about each bike, you could really see just how much it all meant to him.

We finished our visit with a lovely cold Appletiser in the Pit Stop Café. 🥤

We are incredibly proud to have been able to facilitate such a meaningful and enjoyable day for John, creating an opportunity for him to reconnect with something that has been such a big part of his life.

And John's feedback says it all:

“What a fantastic day!” ❤️

It was also wonderful to hear how pleased his family were to hear all about his day.

🎉 Welcome to the team, Taylor! 🎉

We’re delighted to welcome Taylor to CareRight as our new Rota Coordinator, based at our Plymouth office! 👋

Taylor will be right at the heart of our day-to-day operations, helping to make sure our fantastic care team are in the right place at the right time and that our clients continue to receive the reliable, high-quality support they depend on.

Working closely with our carers, clients and wider office team, Taylor will play an important role in keeping everything running smoothly across Plymouth, Plympton, Tavistock and the surrounding areas.

Bringing together her knowledge of care with her organisational and scheduling skills, she’ll be helping to manage the many moving parts that go on behind the scenes to deliver great care every day.

It’s a busy role where no two days are quite the same, and we’re really pleased to have Taylor joining the team as CareRight continues to grow.

🌸 Proud is an understatement! 🌸

Pat recently attended her local monthly flower market. Another wonderful outing made possible through our Enrichment Service. 💗

Our enrichment service is all about helping to alleviate the anxieties that can come with leaving the house. Those feelings of not feeling able, apprehension, or simply needing that bit of reassurance and turning them into positive experiences, confidence and connection. ✨

This was Pat’s second outing in the last month or so, something she is incredibly grateful for as she continues to maintain those all important connections within her local community.

And what better reason to get out than flowers? 🌷 Pat chose a beautiful vase of pink peonies before we finished with a coffee at Warren’s. ☕️

Even better, Pat’s neighbours happened to be enjoying a coffee there too! Another lovely reminder that getting out and being part of the community can create those little moments of connection that mean so much.

Pat summed it up perfectly:
💬 “I would not get out if it wasn’t for this lady.”

Hearing words like that makes proud an understatement. ❤️

Here’s to more outings, more confidence, more community connections and plenty more flowers along the way! 🌸☕️

💗 Sometimes, it’s the simple days that mean the most

Today, we took a trip out with Carol, who wanted to enjoy a lovely day doing exactly what she fancied. And that’s what our Enrichment Service is all about. 🌸

Living alone can sometimes feel lonely, which is why having the opportunity to get out, enjoy the community and spend time doing the things you love can be so important.

Today’s itinerary was very much a Carol day. ❤️

🥪 A trip to the nearby village for her favourite prawn sandwich at Twists in Plympton
🍺 A lovely cold lager at JD Wetherspoon
🌸 And, of course, some time choosing a new perfume, which always comes in handy when you have someone with you to help decide! 😉

And Carol smelt absolutely lovely by the time we were finished!

But more than anything, it was the enjoyment on Carol’s face that made the day so special.

As we sat enjoying a drink together, Carol said:
💬 “I can’t remember the last time I sat and enjoyed a drink like this. It feels good.”

And that’s exactly why we do what we do. 💗

It’s not just about getting out of the house. It’s about choice, independence, companionship and creating moments that feel good.

Because everyone deserves the chance to have a day that is simply their own. 🌷

Annalese brings a wealth of experience from across the health and social care sector, including roles within the NHS and Complex Care. She holds a Level 3 NVQ in Lead Adult Care and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Based in our Bovey Tracey office, Annalese will be supporting both our fantastic care team and the people we care for across the local community. Her knowledge, dedication, and compassionate approach make her a brilliant addition to CareRight, and we're excited to have her on board.

♥️ Making wishes come true, one trip at a time. 💙

When our Enrichment Coordinator spoke with Len about his personal goals and aspirations, one wish stood out – to visit Brixham, somewhere he hadn't been for many years.

His first words were:
💬 "How will I get there? I don't think I can. Who can take me?"

At Care Right UK, we believe in finding solutions rather than focusing on barriers, so we made it happen.

Len spent the day strolling around the beautiful harbour, enjoying the sunshine, reminiscing about happy memories, and treating himself to an ice cream, something he said he'd forgotten the taste of.

These are the moments that remind us why person-centred care matters so much. It's about listening, turning goals into reality, and creating memories that last a lifetime. 🫶
