Today was a very special day for all of us at Be Happy at Home. 💛🐝

A huge thank you to The Mayor of Newton Abbot, Councillor Louise Cooke, for officially opening our new office today. It was an honour to welcome you and we are so grateful that you took the time to celebrate this exciting milestone with us.

We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and are excited for the future of Be Happy at Home. Here’s to making an even bigger difference in our local community.

Be Happy at Home have been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Newton Abbot Business & Community Awards - for the Independent Business of the Year Award.

None of this would be possible without our amazing clients, every single member of our care team and the dedicated office team. Every person goes above and beyond and this nomination truly reflects that.

We’ve got a very exciting (and very busy!) week ahead…

🔨 Putting the finishing touches to our new office with those last-minute DIY jobs
🎉 Getting everything ready for our official opening
👑 Welcoming the Mayor on Friday 7th August at 2pm
🏇 Heading to Newton Abbot Racecourse Fun Day on Saturday 8th August from 10am – come and say hello!

All of this is happening while we’re continuing to do what matters most – supporting our incredible care team and providing outstanding care to our wonderful clients every single day.

Busy? Absolutely. Worth it? Every single second. 💛🐝
