🌟 National Volunteers’ Week 🌟
This week, we are celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy, skills and compassion to help make Sisters of Support what it is today. 💜
Every event we host, every support group we facilitate, every member we welcome and every woman we support is made possible because of the amazing volunteers who stand beside us. Whether you help behind the scenes, support at events, lead activities, make tea and coffee, offer a listening ear, or simply show up when we need you most, please know that your contribution matters more than words can express.
Our volunteers are the heart of Sisters of Support. You bring kindness, laughter, understanding and hope to women across our communities, often without seeking recognition or praise. The difference you make is felt every single day.
As part of National Volunteers’ Week, we would like to give special recognition to our Volunteer of the Year, Gail Smith. 🌟
Since joining Sisters of Support, Gail has demonstrated unwavering dedication, compassion and commitment. She consistently goes above and beyond, always willing to lend a hand, share her knowledge, support our members and help drive our organisation forward.
As one of our Directors, Gail has become an invaluable part of our team, but it is her selfless nature and genuine care for others that truly sets her apart. She embodies everything Sisters of Support stands for and makes a positive impact wherever she goes.
Gail, thank you for your dedication, your kindness and the countless hours you give to supporting women in our community. We are incredibly proud to call you part of the SOS family. 💜
To Gail, and to every single volunteer who supports Sisters of Support, thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do what we do without you.
Happy National Volunteers’ Week! 💜
