Our residents had a wonderful visit from the lovely Cooper the tortoise! Everyone absolutely loved having a hold of him, giving him lots of cuddles and showing him plenty of love. 🥰

It was such a special experience, and Cooper certainly brought lots of smiles and joy to everyone’s day! 🐢💕

On Friday the 27th November from 10am, we have a professional photographer joining us at Defoe court for a very special Christmas photo shoot for our residents.
Our residents will have the opportunity to have a beautiful professional photograph taken against a lovely Christmas backdrop, perfect for their Christmas cards and a wonderful memory to treasure. 🎄✨
And the best part… our residents don’t pay a penny! ❤️
This is an early Christmas present from all of us at Defoe court. 🎁
If you would also like to have a professional Christmas photograph taken with your loved one, we would love for you to join us! All we ask is for a £10 donation to our Residents’ Fund.
For your £10 donation, you will receive: 📸 A professionally taken Christmas photograph

🌟 A Lovely Day Out! 🌟

On Tuesday, Sue and Phyllis were joined by the lovely Jack and Eileen from St Clare’s Court for a fantastic day out. 🥰

The group enjoyed a trip to Burger King before heading to the cinema to watch Practical Magic 2. 🎬🍔

Everyone had a wonderful time, enjoyed the movie, and made some lovely memories together. It was a brilliant day out filled with great company, laughter, and fun! 🧡

Our residents love playing bingo every week, and this week was another fantastic afternoon!

🏆 Gordon won all 3 lines
🏆 Allan won a full house
🏆 Joyce was our big winner, winning two full houses!

Everyone had a lovely time enjoying the bingo, along with a cuppa and something nice to eat. ☕🍰

Our residents absolutely love having their hair done by the lovely Joanne. There’s always plenty of laughter, stories and a good old chat while everyone gets pampered. 🥰
