Position: Business Support Officer

About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Business Support Officer to join our busy care office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our care service, ensuring the office runs efficiently while delivering excellent administrative support to the management team, care staff, clients, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the office and management team.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate client and staff records in line with GDPR requirements.
• Support recruitment administration, including onboarding, compliance checks, and maintaining personnel files.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate equipment orders.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation are kept up to date.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
• Experience working within a health or social care environment (desirable).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and office management systems.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
