You may have noticed the significant roadworks currently taking place outside our branch.
Whilst this is creating some short-term disruption, we're genuinely excited to see investment being made into Earlestown and the improvements this will bring to the local area in the longer term.
That said, we recognise that the current environment doesn't reflect the welcoming and peaceful surroundings we want for the families we support at such an important time in their lives.
For that reason, we're temporarily meeting families at our sister branch, Fisher & Dixon Funeral Directors in St Helens, located less than four miles away. To make things as easy as possible, we're pleased to offer complimentary transport assistance for anyone who would prefer not to drive to the branch for funeral arrangements or chapel visits.
Most importantly, Merrony & Kynaston is still very much here and serving the community.
We're continuing to arrange funerals for local families every day and are doing everything possible to make the process straightforward and convenient, including:
Funeral arrangements at Fisher & Dixon or in your own home.
Home visits for those who would prefer not to travel.
Chapel visits available outside normal working hours and at weekends, by appointment, at no additional charge.
Complimentary transport assistance for families attending arrangements or chapel visits.
Continued local support from the same dedicated team you know and trust.
Our commitment to Newton-le-Willows and Earlestown remains exactly the same. Whilst our meeting location has temporarily changed, the personal care, compassion and attention to detail that families have come to expect from Merrony & Kynaston has not.
If you, a family member or a friend would like advice, support or simply wish to discuss future funeral plans, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're still local, still open, and still here whenever you need us.
