💊♻️ BLISTER PACK RECYCLING NOW AVAILABLE! ♻️💊

We’re pleased to let our patients know that we are now taking part in a blister pack recycling scheme! 🌱

If you have empty medication blister packs at home, you can now bring them along to our pharmacy and place them in our blister pack recycling collection box.

✅ What can you recycle?
All empty plastic-and-foil medication blister packs.

⚠️ Please remember: All medication must be removed from the blister packs before bringing them in.

🌍 Why recycle?
Blister packs can be difficult to recycle through normal household recycling. By returning them to us, you’re helping to reduce pharmaceutical packaging waste and support a more sustainable future.

🚨 URGENT – WILDFIRE ASSISTANCE NEEDED 24/07/26 (Aviemore/Nethy Bridge Area)🚨

A major wildfire near Aviemore has flared up again and is threatening the Nethy Bridge area.

Scottish Land & Estates / Firebreak Services are asking for trained operators and firefighting resources to attend a general muster.

Particularly needed:

* Bulldozers
* Excavators/Diggers
* Tractors with suitable attachments
* Water bowsers/tankers
* Other heavy plant and equipment
* Experienced operators and gamekeepers who can assist safely

Muster Point:
📍 Nethy Bridge Village Football Pitch (next to the Nethy Bridge Visitor Centre)
Dell Road, Nethy Bridge PH25 3DG

If you are able to help with equipment or have trained operators available, please make your way to the muster point as soon as it is safe to do so.

Monday 3 August is the Summer Bank Holiday in the Highland Council area so a little planning now can help you make the most of the long weekend.

✅ Order and collect any repeat prescriptions you need in good time
✅ Check your GP practice and pharmacy opening hours, as these may vary
✅ Keep a few essential over-the-counter medicines at home, such as antihistamines for allergies, oral rehydration sachets, and paracetamol for everyday aches and pains.
