Three new little cuties have joined the Jones family 🐐🥰

They are just too adorable, and I’m already completely in love!! There’s something about goat cuddles that really is good for the soul. ❤️

And really… what’s 3 more, hey? 😂 That brings us to 5 goats in total — and I think we can officially say the goat obsession is real! 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Bluey, Bingo and Coco… can you guess who named them…😆

Welcome to the family, little ones! 💕

How beautiful is this post ⬇️ 🥹 I really do have the most amazing clients!!

Check out the Hafren Forest Hideaway, a local, fun, enthusiastic business offering a beautiful get away in the forest 🌳🌞

🐾 Today, we are giving a little shout-out to someone brilliant with our boy.

Bryn’s been showing a little skip in his right hind leg when running, so we have been getting some help from his veterinary physiotherapist, Amy.

Amy Jones Vet Physio

From day one, she has been absolutely wonderful with him.

What we particularly love is that Amy explains everything in “so we can actually understand it”. She never rushes Bryn, works at his pace and gives him the time he needs, especially when his enthusiasm gets the better of him!

Amy has spoken with our vets when she’s had concerns, advised us when she felt pain relief might be needed, and always takes that extra bit of time to make sure Bryn is comfortable and happy.

That is what we love about working with independent businesses and people who genuinely care about what they do.

You can feel the difference when someone isn’t simply doing a job, but is passionate about the people, or in this case, the slightly crazy Sprocker, they are looking after. ❤️

Bryn absolutely adores her. And, if we are honest, so do we.

We are lucky to have found someone who cares for him with the same patience and attention that we try to give our own guests at Hafren Forest Hideaway.

💬 And this got me thinking...
Who is the independent business or person you wouldn’t hesitate to recommend?

A tradesperson, hairdresser, dog groomer, therapist, café, farm shop... whoever it is, give them a little shout-out below.
Let’s spread some love for the people who genuinely care about what they do. ❤️

❤️Amy Jones Physiotherapist ❤️

We’re delighted to be working with our wonderful animal physiotherapist, Amy, who has recently returned from maternity leave! 🐾💕

Having previously been working alongside our team, it’s lovely to welcome her back and continue working together to provide the very best care and rehabilitation for our patients. 🐴

Animal physiotherapy can play an important role in recovery, mobility, pain management and overall wellbeing, and we’re thrilled to have her expertise available to support our patients alongside our veterinary team. 👫

She offers physiotherapy to equine, feline and canine patients. If you would like to come into our Llanidloes or Newtown branch for a session with Amy then call your local branch to organise. ☎️🐱🐶🐴

Welcome back — we’re so pleased to have you with us again! 💚

🐾 Meet Slate 💚

Today I had the pleasure of seeing the beautiful Slate for her first physiotherapy and laser therapy session.

Slate’s owner has noticed that she has been slowing down recently and has been struggling to get comfortable when settling down. We’re starting to support her mobility and comfort with a combination of physiotherapy and laser therapy.

One of the most important things I want owners to know is that changes in mobility can be very subtle, especially in our older dogs. It’s easy to think they’re simply “getting older”, but slowing down can often be a sign that something is bothering them.

Some signs to look out for include:

🐾 Taking longer to get up after resting
🐾 Stiffness when getting up or lying down
🐾 Slowing down on walks or tiring more quickly
🐾 Avoiding stairs or jumping onto furniture
🐾 Struggling to get in or out of the car
🐾 Changes in their walking pattern or gait
🐾 Reduced interest in playing
🐾 Difficulty settling or finding a comfortable position
🐾 Licking or paying more attention to a particular area
🐾 Becoming quieter, less active or more reluctant to move

The aim of physiotherapy is not just to treat a problem once it becomes significant, but to help maintain strength, flexibility, comfort and quality of movement, keeping our dogs doing the things they love for as long as possible. 💚

Slate was an absolute superstar for her first session, and I’m looking forward to helping her on her journey. 🥰🐾

🏵️ Success in the ring starts long before competition day! 🏵️

A huge congratulations to my lovely clients Brenin and Rolo on their fantastic Hoopers results! 🎉🐾

When dogs compete regularly, whether it’s hoopers, agility, flyball, canicross or any other sport, they’re placing repeated demands on their muscles, joints and soft tissues. Just like human athletes, they can develop areas of tightness, compensation or minor strains before they become obvious injuries.

Regular physiotherapy checks can help:
🐕 Identify small issues before they become bigger problems.
💪 Improve flexibility, strength and movement quality.
⚖️ Address muscle imbalances and compensatory patterns.
🏃 Support performance so your dog can move efficiently and confidently.
❤️ Keep your canine athlete comfortable and enjoying the sport they love.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that physio is only needed after an injury. In reality, preventative physiotherapy is one of the best ways to help reduce injury risk and keep your dog performing at their best throughout the competition season.

Whether your dog is chasing podium places or simply having fun in the ring, investing in their physical health is investing in their future.

Congratulations again to Brenin and Rolo on their brilliant achievements! Here’s to many more happy, healthy runs. 🐾🏅

Meet the beautiful Remi - the most spoilt spaniel I know 💛🐾

A few years ago, Remi underwent surgery for a broken leg. Since then, she had been standing with a much wider stance and turning her right foot outwards. Earlier this year, she also started having recurring flare-ups and would intermittently go lame on that leg.

After a course of physiotherapy and plenty of fun home exercises, the difference is amazing. Remi is moving much more comfortably, her stance is noticeably narrower and more balanced, and her foot is no longer turning out as much.

Best of all, she hasn’t had any flare-ups since, and she’s back to enjoying life with confidence.

Watch the before and after video to see Remi’s progress 💛

This gorgeous little lady is Betsy, and she’s an incredible 15 years young! ❤️

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Betsy for the past 3 years. We first started treatment to support her recovery following a partially ruptured cruciate ligament, and we’ve continued ever since to help keep her comfortable and mobile as she manages arthritis.

Betsy is the definition of sassy, strong-minded, and without a doubt the most spoilt little lady I know! 🐾 She certainly knows what she wants, and it’s always a pleasure seeing her each session.

Helping our senior dogs stay comfortable, active, and enjoying life is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Here’s to many more cuddles and treatment sessions, Betsy! 💜
