Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist

£50,129 - £57,365 per annum
We are looking for highly skilled Speech & Language Therapist to lead the AAC service here in Powys Teaching Health Board. We are offering a permanent 1.0 whole time equivalent position.
You will be responsible for leading and developing the AAC service, providing expert advice and second opinions for both adults and children with communication difficulties who have been identified as potential AAC users.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering training in AAC to patients/families/speech & language therapy colleagues and other health and social care professionals, across a variety of different settings including in-patient community hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and patients’ homes.

The base of the successful post holder can be negotiated; however this role is a pan Powys and will include an element of travel.
