Newtown Breastfeeding Friends Group - Newtown BFG Breastfeeding Support and Social Group in Newtown, Powys

Newtown Breastfeeding Support Group was set up by a team of mums who have all breastfed or are currently breastfeeding their children and are qualified as Breastfeeding Peer Counsellors trained using La Leche League materials. They offer support and information to pregnant ladies, new mums, long-term breastfeeding women or anyone interested in the subject.

very sorry to have to cancel group but due to clashes in work and personal commitments we are struggling to have peer supporters for the next two weeks for group to run.
Therefore the next two weeks group will not be running, i am so sorry to anyone who was planning on coming or is seeking support, please message the page for all your peer support needs, if you need in person support welshpool group runs on friday and i am sure they would love to welcome you.

Unfortunately due to work and sickness group will not be on tomorrow morning. The room is still booked if anyone of you wanted to meet and hang out there but there will be no peer support on hand. xx

It’s been a while since we all introduced ourselves so i thought it might be nice to share our faces so you know who we all are!

This wonderful human is Libby who has just joined our team as a peer supporter. Libby has been coming to the group for a while now with her youngest. She has lots of experience with supporting mums on their feeding journeys as she is about to go into her final year as a student midwife. She is a mum to two small people, and loves getting outdoors especially to the beach!

This little happy chap is looking forward to welcoming you all to group this morning, see you from 10!
