🎨☀ Last week also at Aughnacloy House our residents enjoyed a wonderful creative visit from Helen at Creative Mojo

Working together on a summer-themed project, residents created a colourful caravan scene while sharing memories and reminiscing about holidays gone by.

There was plenty of creativity and everyone was delighted with the fantastic final result!

A huge thank you to Helen and Creative Mojo for another brilliant and enjoyable session. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

🚶‍♀️ Abbey View staff take on a 10K challenge!

On Thursday, 13th August 2026, some of our staff from Abbey View Nursing Home, Bangor, will be walking 10K from Bangor to Groomsport to raise vital funds for Tribe Autism Support Ards & North Down.

Tribe is a local autism charity supporting more than 300 autistic children and young people, along with their families. In total, the organisation now supports over 1,000 members across Ards & North Down and the surrounding areas.

We’re proud of our team for taking on this challenge and helping to raise funds so that Tribe can continue providing valuable support to its members and their families.

🚴‍♀️ Last week at Aughnacloy House our staff took part in a Bikeathon to raise funds for the home with the sun shining, ABBA playing and plenty of energy and laughter throughout! 🎶💃

We had a fantastic time, raised funds for a great cause and definitely felt the burn in our legs!

A huge well done and thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. What a great team effort!
