Hello August! Or maybe I should be saying goodbye 😬

The summer really got away from me keeping up with socials because it’s been such a busy one! Lots of fun has been had and I’ve just finished up with some lovely clients too. My cup has well and truly been filled but it’s back to business as usual now! 🙌🏻

Hello July! Happy summer holidays to those that live their lives by the school calendar (married to a PE teacher)! ☀️

I hope everyone survived the heat but I’m worried that our summer is now actually over. 😅

My summer is shaping up to be a busy one as we’re jetting of to Stockholm next week and I have some clients to prepare for before and after we go as well as some fun business bits going on in the background. 🙌🏻

It’s my birthday! 🥳

Once you’ve passed 30 it’s very easy to feel that your birthday is just another day but I’m so very grateful for my wonderful family and friends who’ve spoiled me and made me feel very loved today. 🥰

Another year older always has me reflecting on my achievements of the last 12 months and today we’re celebrating growing my business while surviving the terrible twos! 😅

Might treat myself to a facemask tonight. 🩵

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there! 🥰

I am so lucky to have Arran’s daddy, my dad and Gregor’s dad helping me raise this crazy boy. Arran couldn’t have better role models 🙌🏻

We’ve treated Papa to lunch yesterday, Daddy will be having some lunch in the sun and Grandpa is getting a takeaway this evening - let me know what your Father’s Day plans are! 🩵

Hello June! How has everyone been coping with the heat? The summer months can definitely be a challenge when you’re pregnant! ☀️

Lots of exciting things going on this month with Scotland in the World Cup, Father’s Day coming up and I’ll be celebrating my 32nd birthday! 🥳

I also have some lovely sessions planned and will be doing a bit of learning myself - it’s all going on this month! 🙌🏻

During a recent conversation with a family member, she said that due to the likelihood of her having another c-section, she didn’t think hypnobirthing was suitable for her.

It really has me wondering how many people out there think they have to throw out their birth plan if a caesarean becomes necessary?

There are still so many factors you can influence during your c-section so swipe through to see them and make sure you add these to your birth preferences! 🩷

Congratulations to Heather and Ciaran who recently welcomed gorgeous little Jasper to the world! 🩵

Heather absolutely smashed her labour and birth after doing The Ultimate Hypnobirthing Course earlier this year, using all of her knowledge, tools and techniques to make informed decisions and staying calm and in control even when things weren’t going as she hoped! 🙌🏻

Ciaran wasn’t able to attend all of our sessions so we added a Power Hour to go over his role as a birth partner which he aced being the best support to Heather and advocating for her wishes! ⭐️

It was an absolute pleasure working with you both and I hope you’re loving life as a family of three! 🤍

April is Caesarean Section Awareness Month and as a proud c-section mum myself, I’m here to tell you it’s definitely not the easy way out.

For some it’s a preference, for others it becomes necessary and in some situations it’s life saving. And, regardless of why you have a c-section, it’s major abdominal surgery with an often longer and tougher recovery.

No one should be made to feel less of a mum for having a c-section. All that should matter is that you and your baby are safe and healthy. 💛
