Could you help shape the future of health and wellbeing in York?
We’re looking for around 20 people from across York to join a new Community Panel and share their experiences, ideas and hopes for the future of health and wellbeing in their neighbourhood.
You’ll work alongside members of York’s Health and Wellbeing Board, bringing together representatives from the council, NHS and wider health and care system, to help shape what Neighbourhood Health could look and feel like in York.
You don’t need any qualifications or experience. The only expertise we need is your experience of living in York.
Together, we’ll explore:
➡️What helps people stay healthy?
➡️What makes it harder?
➡️What would make your neighbourhood a healthier place to live?
We want the panel to reflect the diversity of York, particularly including people whose voices aren’t always heard.
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences, including students, parents, carers, retired people, disabled and neurodivergent people, LGBTQ+ people and people from culturally diverse communities.
Applications close 7 September 2026.
Travel and other reasonable expenses, refreshments and friendly support will be provided.
