This year, we're encouraging all our patients, families and local community members to take part in the World's Largest Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Every day, Macmillan helps people living with cancer by providing practical, emotional and financial support when they need it most. From helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, to offering advice on work, benefits and everyday challenges, Macmillan is there to ensure no one faces cancer alone.

Whether you host your own coffee morning, attend a local event, or simply enjoy a cuppa and make a donation, you'll be helping Macmillan continue its incredible work supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.

πŸ’š Support people living with cancer
β˜• Enjoy a coffee with friends, family or colleagues

πŸ“… Booking an Appointment
When you need an appointment, please submit your request through Anima. This allows our team to review your request and make sure you are offered the most appropriate clinician and appointment for your needs.
When completing your Anima request, please let us know what time of day works best for you β€” for example, morning or afternoon β€” and any days or times you may be unable to attend.
We will always try our best to accommodate your preferred time, although we cannot guarantee a specific appointment.
Using Anima for all appointment requests helps us to manage demand fairly, prioritise patients appropriately and make the best use of the appointments available.
Please remember: Anima is the best way to request an appointment

πŸ’™ Know Your Numbers! πŸ’™

High blood pressure often has no symptoms, which is why it's sometimes known as the "silent killer." The only way to know if your blood pressure is high is to have it checked regularly.

There are simple lifestyle changes that can help keep your blood pressure healthy:

βœ… Cut down on salt
βœ… Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables
βœ… Maintain a healthy weight
βœ… Exercise regularly
βœ… Drink alcohol in moderation

Small changes can make a big difference to your heart health and overall wellbeing.

If you haven't had your blood pressure checked recently, why not make it a priority? Early detection and management can help reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke and other serious health conditions.

πŸ“ Speak to your GP practice, local pharmacy, or healthcare professional about getting your blood pressure checked.
