Now, I don't have favourites (😜) ...but this little Dude Z came as emotional support for his big brother BabyD...I'll definitely be bringing him home!! 🥰😇

Counter to him and his beautiful bou-font hair style ...is Pepi Muc (irish for 🐖) 😫😫🤦‍♀️

Gorgeous Griffin knows how to cope in the heat!

•Cooling coat,
•Gentle slow exercise in cool deep water in a water treadmill
•Aircon on
•awning down
•Lights off
•Calm environment

•Fan in the boot
•Shade on the windscreen

•And a cooling towel for his hydrotherapist 😃

Some dogs need to 💯 stay at home in the heat but others can still safely exercise - remember their mental health too. They can become frustrated with lack of exercise and stimulation.

Walking small dogs through a litter tray of cool water can help them cool down.

Doing gentle indoor exercises over poles indoors will also maintain mobility and strength in older dogs.

** Please remember that cooling coats are suitable for every dog. Griffin is young, fit and healthy. He has long legs, long flowing hair and is lean. Air travels around his body freely!

If left on too long, cooling coats can trap heat next to the body, so should be used with caution for short periods of time.

Wiping a cool wet flannel on the inside of your dog's ear, belly and pads can help cool them down.

Please avoid dousing your dog in extremely cold water or iced water as this can be counter productive.

Please feel free in get in touch if you would like to discuss your dog's individual needs with regards to exercise during periods of hot weather.
