Could you give a couple of hours a month to make someone’s day better?

Loneliness is a big problem for people who are visually impaired and we’re determined to support anyone who might be struggling… But we need your help!
We need friendly, compassionate people who would like to become befrienders for a visually impaired person.

We will always speak to you before pairing you with someone to ensure we match people with common interests or similar personalities.

You’ll receive our training and will be fully supported by our volunteer coordinators.

A coach load of thank-yous to Newmedica, who provided goodie bags for all our passengers and donated £150 towards our recent trip to Southend.

We made lots of memories on a brilliant day out and we are so grateful for your support.

Take on The Amazing Northampton Run for NAB!

Run through the heart of Northampton, cheered on by locals, friends, and our NAB team. Raise a minimum of £150 for NAB and get a place for as little as £10!

• Half Marathon – the full lap of England’s largest town!
• Relay – The half marathon run by your team of 3.
• 3 Miles – Soak up the atmosphere over a shorter distance.

Visit us at the Northampton Cricket Community Day as the Steelbacks take on Lancashire.

We’ll be there with our Mobile Sight Centre and a selections of games to get involved in. There’s even a chance to win a cricket bat signed by the Northampton team!

Take on the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Team NAB!

We’re looking for runners who want to fulfil their dream of completing one of the world’s most iconic races, while raising funds for a worthwhile cause.

We have 10 charity places for Saturday 24th April 2027.

If you receive a place, we require a £100 registration fee and a minimum fundraising pledge of £2,000. But don’t be overwhelmed, we will be by your side every step of the way to support with fundraising and training!

Run the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Team NAB!

For the first time in its history, the London Marathon is being hosted as a double-day event. And for the first time in our history, we have secured 10 marathon places.

• £2,000 minimum sponsorship. (We’ll be on hand to support you every step of the way!)
• All places for Saturday 24th April 2027.
• If you are offered a place, you will need to pay a £100 registration fee.
• Maximum race time for Saturday is 7 Hours and 45 Minutes.
• Applications close 9am on the 3rd August.
