It’s Thank You Thursday 💛💙

A huge thank you to Colin from Travis Perkins who has taken on another adrenaline filled challenge, this time a skydive raising £821. Colin has previously taken on an abseil in support of the hospice, what will be next?

While sorting out the jewellery donations, our volunteer Bee found a 9ct Gold Bracelet, that was valued at £1,000. The bracelet sold within an hour, it’s amazing what gets donated! Thank you to Bee for her keen eye and dedication sorting our jewellery.

With July coming to a close we’ve had an exciting… and warm month! ☀️💙

1. Spencer bunny took a trip to take part in a primary school penalty shoot out in the 30 degree heat. ⚽️

2. Anita, our director of income generation and communications, found herself front and centre on the Hospice income generation leaders conference booklet!

3. Our summer golf day, where our golfers powered through the sunny day, not to mention some amazing supporters running their own golf days this month. ⛳️

4. Some of the team visited sywell aerodrome, the venue for our 50th year black tie gala to commence with the planning.

5. We had the pleasure of presenting an award at the Northants Life awards. To be kindly gifted sponsorship of an award is hugely appreciated.

6. We met with our amazing golf sponsors Emw Law LLP for the black tie gala at the hospice for a tour, so they can directly see what their support is contributing towards. 💛

It’s Thank You Thursday 💛💙

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Grand Junction & Salcey Forest Masonic Lodges who held a joint fundraiser in memory of a Master who recently passed. The lodges raised an incredible £2,000 and we are so grateful for their support and donation.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to volunteer Gerry and the fantastic team effort from Bob Townsend and Road to Morocco customers. By donating £20 to have their photo taken with a replica World Cup, they raised an incredible £1,060 for Cynthia Spencer. Thank you for turning a great idea into real impact for local hospice care. ⚽️ The Road to Morocco
