Living with social anxiety can feel overwhelming.

Everyday situations such as meeting new people, speaking up in meetings, attending social events, or even making a phone call can trigger intense worry and self-consciousness.

This can lead to a multitude of emotions including shame, embarrassment and even anger that you feel you’re “built this way”.

The good news is that you’re not alone, and the even better news is that social anxiety therapy can help you understand these feelings, build confidence, and help you regain control over your life.

Are you currently experiencing some issues in your relationship that you feel could benefit from couples therapy, but are wondering how to bring up the idea with your partner?

If so, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where they know something needs to shift, but their partner may not feel the same urgency or may even be resistant to the idea of getting help.

First, let’s clear up a common misconception – couples counselling isn’t about proving who’s right or wrong. It’s not about airing grievances while a therapist takes sides.

Instead, couples counselling offers a structured space where both partners can be heard, understood, and supported in finding healthier ways to relate to each other.

The goal isn’t to win, it’s to reconnect. Read more here:

😠 Are you getting bored of my messages yet?

💡 We recognise that when it comes to our health, repeating the same messages are important to our future self care.

🍆 For example we tell men the importance of regularly checking their testicles for lumps.

🎈 For example we tell women the importance of regularly checking their breasts for lumps.

‼️ Therefore let’s do the same with our mental health.

👀 Look at the messages below … simple but powerful … crying, emotions, sensitivity, asking for help, having 3/10 days are all ok …

👍… but more importantly are a good sign that you’re looking after your mental health.

😊 Hopefully I am boring you into reading this stuff …

Infidelity can leave a deep wound.

You gave a person your heart, opened up to them, allowed yourself to be vulnerable, and then that trust was betrayed.

This shakes your sense of self and can even leave you questioning your worth.

The emotions that follow – hurt, anger, grief, confusion – can feel overwhelming. It’s not just the relationship that changes – it’s how you see yourself, how you view love, how you will act in relationships in the future, and even how safe you feel in the world.

If you have been cheated on, we know how hurt you will be feeling right now, and in this blog we’ll discuss how you can move forward onto brighter things: www.thetherapyroom.uk.com/infidelity-how-to-move-on-and-rebuild-yourself

Suffering with a mental health condition can feel hugely isolating. But did you know:

- 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England.
- 1 in 5 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in England.

Look around you next time you're in a shopping centre, at the gym, or at work. Chances are there are a lot of people around you who feel the same.

You are not alone. And there is help out there. Reach out if you need a chat ❤️
