Behind every funeral director is a dedicated team working tirelessly to ensure every family receives the highest standard of care.

The other day, we delivered a hamper to a local care home to celebrate their Staff Appreciation Week. It got us thinking that we couldn't let our own amazing team go without showing them just how much we appreciate everything they do.

Our arrangers and funeral operatives work incredibly hard behind the scenes, supporting families with compassion, professionalism and kindness every single day. Their dedication makes our role as funeral directors so much easier, and we truly couldn't do it without them.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you for everything you do. Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and we're proud to have such a fantastic team. 💙

Today we visited Hampton Healthcare Burlington Court Care Home to celebrate Staff Appreciation Day.

As a small thank you, we took along a few treats for the wonderful team who work so hard every day caring for their residents with kindness, compassion and dedication.

A huge thank you to all of the staff at Burlington Court for everything you do. Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and we hope you enjoyed your well-deserved treats! 💙

With the warm weather we've been enjoying, he was also offering cups of water to help keep everyone hydrated. ☀️💧

💐 A little kindness can go a long way. 💐

Today we've been out and about in town handing out flowers to brighten someone's day and hopefully put a smile on a few faces. Sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.

🎁 Father's Day Hampers Delivered 🎁

Our Funeral Directors, Luke and Jordan, have been out and about visiting several local care homes, delivering Father's Day hampers ready for Sunday.

It was wonderful to see the smiles on residents' faces as they received their treats and goodies. We hope the hampers help make Father's Day that little bit more special for everyone.

A big thank you to the care homes for welcoming us, and we wish all fathers, grandfathers, and father figures a very happy Father's Day this weekend. 💙

💙Today we have put up our Memory Tree for Father's Day💙

If you would like to come along and write a memory card for a father, grandfather, or someone special to you, you are very welcome to hang it on our tree.

If you are unable to visit the branch but would still like to add a message, please leave a comment below, send us a message on Facebook, or contact us directly at the branch and we will be happy to write a card on your behalf.

Father's Day can be a difficult time for many people, and we hope this small gesture provides an opportunity to remember and celebrate those who are no longer with us 💙

🌿 Community Support at Billing Road Cemetery 🌿

Today, Jordan and Mark spent some time helping the Friends of Billing Road Cemetery team. Thankfully, the weather was on their side, making it a lovely day for gardening and helping to clear weeds from the pathways.

It’s fantastic to see the hard work and dedication that goes into maintaining this special space, and to hear about the plans and improvements they hope to achieve in the future.

A big thank you to everyone involved for helping to keep the cemetery looking its best for visitors and families. 💚

Ann Bonham & Son Funeral Directors, with permission from the family are saddened to announce the passing of Mr Alan Peck.

Born on 29th July 1954, Alan sadly passed away at home on Monday 25th May 2026, Aged 71.

The service will be for immediate family only but friends can view the service on the live webcast using the details on the link below

Alan was deeply loved by all who knew him, he will be sorely missed.
