Christopher’s Care Home Northants was founded to serve the local community in 1951 it must be one of Northampton’s best kept secrets. Northampton lies between the River Nene and the Welland. Our aim is to support the independence, choice and preferred lifestyles of all residents in a homely, stable and Christian environment, respecting the need for privacy and dignity in maintaining a chosen quality of life for each individual within the service we offer. A tranquil living environment . . . Set in two acres of beautiful landscaped gardens opposite Abington Park, St Christopher ’s Home is a charity.

Another busy week at St Christopher’s with a trip to the Sing a Long at Wellingborough and a visit from Northampton Dogs who demonstrated the wonderful skills of Lottie, Dozer and Peanut. Our residents loved it 🐶 and this afternoon we all enjoyed a Gallones ice cream with the residents choosing 3 scoops from a collection of 6 different flavors 🍦

Well the weather was just perfect for our annual summer fete 🤗 Residents, friends, family and our local community joined us for a wonderful afternoon. So many people to thank for making our day special …… The Mayor Mike Hallam for officially opening the fete, Naseby Village Band, Terry Smith, Steve Dimmer for the entertainment- it was just perfect!!!! To our wonderful army of volunteers who all did an amazing job (as always)from beginning to end - you are very special people. Last but not least, our trustees, who literally roll up their sleeves and support us all in whatever way they can. Thank you everyone 🌸💐🌸❤️

Don’t forget our annual Summer Fete is on Saturday from 1.00 to 4.00 pm. Weather looks promising and we have over 21 stalls with a mixture of things to win and to buy. We have the wonderful Naseby Village Band placing on the green with a Magic Show and lots of games for the children. We also have a vintage motorbike display. Come and join us for a fun afternoon 🌸💐🎈
