This was a home treated verrucae that morphed into a pyogenic granuloma. Surgical excision and histology EVERY TIME. All benign. Despite use of cautery you see from the last pic there was still some post op claret. Use of the patented BFO dressing sorted it. Healed in a week. (Sorry no post op pic).

POMs update for the Northampton branch last night. Not a bad effort considering I was up at 4.00 am finishing an article on mepivacaine followed by 35 patients in clinic.

A new record for the most arthritic 2nd MTP joint I’ve done. The five sections are the proximal, distal and dorsal (three sections) of the crappy joint. A silastic replacement should give a pain free, adequate range of motion (the blue was was the trial sizer). Also fused the great toe obvs!
