☕️ Afternoon Tea with the local MP ☕️

We were thrilled to welcome our local MP Daniel Francis MP for Bexleyheath & Crayford to Heathfield for this month's Afternoon Tea event, with music from the wonderful Santino Fabbricatore Music ! 🎶

The rain held off so we were able to enjoy the afternoon in the garden, eating delicious cakes, scones and sandwiches while having a good chat in excellent company 😃 Our residents and relatives were pleased to meet their local MP and have the chance to chat to him, and we are very grateful to him for joining us!

🪻 A Trip to the Lavender Fields 🪻

Recently some of our residents have spent a lovely day at Castle Farm Lavender Fields, soaking up the sun while enjoying a picnic amongst the beautiful vibrant Lavender 💜 We are so fortunate to have such stunning scenery nearby for our residents to visit... soon we will be returning to Castle Farm for their Sunflower season! 🌻

Our residents have been enjoying some lovely puzzle time together, working as a team and helping one another along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone sharing ideas, encouraging each other and celebrating when pieces finally found their place! 💕🧩

🍰 Baking a Weekend Treat 🍰

Diamond suite got busy doing some baking this weekend making a 'Cinnamon Roll Apple Cake'! They got stuck in peeling and chopping apples, cracking the eggs, mixing the different ingredients and of course, sampling the end result 😋 It turned out very well and was delicious for the residents and staff to tuck into as a tasty sweet treat 😃

Our lovely resident Ann has been helping us out at our hydration station, making sure our residents and team members have been keeping refreshed and hydrated throughout the day! 💦

We also had a little helper joining us, delivering some delicious ice lollies to help everyone cool down! 🍦😊

A lovely way to stay hydrated, keep cool and spread a little happiness around Heathfield. 💙

Our lovely Liz has enjoyed a day out with her sister Bernadette, taking a trip on 'The Kentish Lady' from Maidstone to Allington Lock, where they ate a delicious lunch before taking the boat back to Maidstone again 🛥🍴 They had perfect weather for a trip on the water and Liz thoroughly enjoyed herself ☀️

🐦🎨 Getting Creative for Our Garden! 🌸

Our residents have been getting creative this week, painting and decorating some lovely birdhouses for our garden! 🏡🐦

Everyone enjoyed choosing their colours and adding their own personal touches, making each birdhouse unique. It was wonderful to see our residents working together, sharing ideas and enjoying a fun, meaningful activity.

We can’t wait to put our colourful birdhouses out in the garden and hopefully welcome some feathered visitors! 🌿💚
